Each school had its own entrance into the Theater of Tales, which had been split into two halves. Courtesy of the School Master.

The west side doors opened up for the good students, decorated with pink and blue pews, crystal friezes, and glittering bouquets of glass flowers. Topped with moving mosaics on the roof of Goods most famous fairy tales.

On the other side, the east side doors opened up for evil students, with warped black and deep blue wooden benches, carvings of murder and torture, and deadly stalactites dangling from the burnt ceiling.

All the students herded in to see the teachers and get the welcoming over with, fairies guarded good, wolves guarded evil. More like they guarded the silver aisle in between schools.

Even though you were just a little evil. One look at the Evergirls with their beautiful hair, dazzling smiles, chic dresses, and you knew you had found your sisters.you ignored the other side of the room and focused on finding that sweet evergirl, Reena.

"Y/n! I'm right here come sit! Come sit!"

You scurried over in her direction and sat down giddily. She grabbed your hand and started telling you everything she had learned about her family line when she went to the library earlier "And my grandpa Aladdin, actually didn't get with princess jasmine. That means he's not actually sultan!" She said panicky almost as if she feared they would make her leave if they found out she wasn't a true princess

"It's ok Reena, I'm here  and my mother isn't a queen, or a princess, or a duchess. I'm just a regular girl"

"Really?"

"Yes, really!"

"Ohh thank you y/n, you really made me feel bet-"

You covered her mouth and listened to the sounds grow louder. Sounds that made every Evergirl sit up straight in their seat. Sounds they had spent their whole lives longing to hear. From the hall, the stomp of boots, and the clash of steal.

The west doors flew open revealing sixty pretty, handsome, Princely Boys. In the middle of a sword fight.

Their sunkissed skin peaked out between theri light blue sleeves and collars; with tall navy boots matching high-cut waistcoats and knotted slim ties each embroidered with the initial of the boys name.

As the boys playful crossed blades, their shirts became untucked and buttons fell loose, reveling slender waists and flashes of muscle.

Their faces glistened with sweat and the rushed down the aisle, their boots cracking on the marble, until the swordfighting ended just as soon as it began. With boys pinning each other against the pews.

In one last chorus of movement, they produced roses and tossed them to the girls who most caught their eye. (Beatrix found herself with enough roses to plant a garden)

You watched all of this all of this happen,  longing for your own rose.

In the decaying pews, villains booed the princess, holding banners with "NEVERS RULE!" and "EVERS STINK"  with a bow, the Princes blew kisses to all of the witches and the Princess winked at the amateur warlocks. Preparing to take their seats when the west doors suddenly slammed open again.P
And one more boy walked in.

With a hair of gold, his eyes blue resemblance to a cloudless sky, skin the color of a hot desert sand. Glistened with a noble sheen, seemingly better then the rest.

That's when it hit you, he was the boy from earlier. Then it hit you again. He was Tedros of Camelot. Son of King Arthur and Guinevere.

The Guinevere who left him and his Father for Lancelot. That's when it hit you. You felt like a horrible person, the poor boy was just trying to make friends and you shut him down.

Who knows you might have even hurt his self esteem. But you couldn't focus on that, you were currently focused on his smile.

And the fact that forty boys were trying to rush him, but your anxiety ceased at once as you watched the swords of your classmates pile beneath his feet without inflicting a scratch on anyone.

When he finished, he sheathed his sword and shrugged as if he meant nothing by it at all. But the Ever boys knew what it meant. The princes had a king, and all he needed now was a queen.

The Evergirls all jumped up to catch his rose, you included. But the other girls moved too slowly.

You lunged for the rose, you didn't even think twice you just went for it. You locked eyes with the boy and his jaw dropped.

Then his face changed. From shock, to disgust, to love. His eyes softened and he grinned at you. You smiled and sat yourself down in your seat, the girls around you grumbling.

Tedros attempted to make his way over to you but Beatrix grabbed him and showed her flowers to him. "Hi I'm Beatrix" he nodded and looked ahead focused on the girl that had his rose.

"Welcome to the School for Good and Evil" said the nicer of the two heads
From your seat you tracked the massive dog(s?) Attached to a single body, pacing back and forth between a silver stone stage, cracked down the middle.
One of the heads was a rabid, drooling monster. The other cuddly, cute and adorable. You couldn't tell if it was male of female, but whichever it was, it seemed as if it was in charge.

"I'm Pollux, one of your welcoming leaders!"

"AND IM CASTOR, WELCOMING LEADER ASSISTANT, AND THE EXECUTIONER OF PUNISHMENTS FOR ANYONE WHO BREAKS ANY RULE"

One everyone appeared scared of hime he smiled. "Thank you brother, now let me explain why your all here. Your all born with sould that are either good or evil. Some of your souls are purer than other souls-"

"AND SOME SOULS ARE SHIT THAT DESERVE TO BE SHOVELED OUT INTO THE FOREST WITH THE REST OF THE ANIMAL CRAP"

"Like I was saying, some sould are purer than others, but all of your souls are either Good or Evil. If you are good you cannot become evil"

"SO THAT MEANS THAT EVEN TOUGH ALL OF YOU ARE SISSYS WHO HAVEN'T WON A STORY IN CENTURIES DOESN'T MEAN THAT YOU CAN JUST SWITCH SIDES"

The good students burst into cheers "EVERS! EVERS! EVERS!" While the evil students fought back with chants of "NEVERS! NEVERS! NEVERS!" But both sides were shut up when wolves doused EVERS with mud and fairies bathed evil in glitter.

Pollux gave Castor a look before continuing the speech. "Once again, those who are Evil cannot be good, and those who are good cannot be evil, no matter how much you are persuaded or punished. Some of you may occasionally experience the stirrings of both but this means that your family tree has had good and Evil toxically mixed together. But fortunately here at the School for Good and Evil, we will rid you of these stirrings, confusion, and make you as pure as possible"

"BUT IF YOU FAIL TO BECOME PURE, THEN SOMETHING SO BAD, SO EVIL, SO DIABOLICAL WILL HAPPEN TO YOU. THAT I CANT EVEN SAY, BUT I INVOLVES ONE IF YOU NEVER BEING SEEN AGAIN"

"Brother, one more and I promise you. I will put you in a muzzle!"
