6|| Foxwood (Filler Chapter)

This is a filler chapter because I don't really have anything yet for my next few chapters so I'm not going to post for a while after this chapter.

After what happened in Etiquette yesterday, you didn't return to finish your classes. Nor did you attend your current classes as of this morning.

Because you were in Foxwood. Going to visit your friends in Arbed House, and hoping that most of them had forgotten what got you kicked out of the school in the first place, you had attacked Japeth.

No reason honestly, you just couldn't help yourself. He was sitting there defenseless and you couldn't help yourself, something in you snapped when you saw him.

And not in a good 'Oh your cute, why am I not acting like myself anymore' but in a creepy 'You make my blood boil, but I need to be around you at all times' type of way.

It made you uneasy knowing he made you like that. And it made you feel even worse when Rhian broke up with you because of it. And when they had voted for you to leave the school

But you've moved on, and you have a boyfriend now. And your happier without them.

But if that was the case why were you back here with them. Sitting around the lunch table and playing cards with Aric, because you were lying to yourself.

"So, anyone gonna say something, or is that still my job"

You teased throwing down a 2 of spades before looking over to Rhian. He avoided your gaze and pretended to be engaged I'm a conversation with Kei. Japeth threw knifes at a dart board you had left in your room.

"That stupid dean of ours, she's forcing us to keep this fucking room vacant." Aric jeered peeking at you from over his cards. "Not my fault" you retorted placing another card to the table.

He growled at you before throwing all his cards down "Royal flush!" You rolled your eyes and used a spell to turn your cards into miniature birdies. As they attacked him you stuck your tongue and said "WE WERE PLAYING GO FISH ASSHOLE"

He dodged a few of your birds before turning to you "You couldn't beat me in poker anyway so ha!" and with that he stormed out of the room, Japeth dragging behind him. Which in turn left You, Rhian, and Kei by yourselves. You looked over at them and caught eyes with Rhian.

'is he still mad at me'

'Does she hate me?'

'God, this is weird'

'shes so quiet now'

'why did I come here, I knew this would happen'

You folded your hands and did a reverse spell on your birdies. Taking them from birds to just regular playing cards. Kei attempted to break the tension which both you and Rhian appreciated "So y/n, where exactly did you go when y'know, you got expelled?"

You dropped your deck of cards, what were you supposed to tell them 'Oh my mom is a famous fairy godmother so I was placed in the School for Good' SERIOUSLY!? THEY WOULD HATE YOU!

You struggled to come up with some sort of answer to his question. Hesitant of saying the wrong thing and making them suspicious, if they weren't already.

"I've been searching around kingdoms, looking for a new school" You made sure to roll your eyes, trying to keep up your nonchalant act. Trying to make them feel guilty for having you expelled in the first place.

"Oh really, have you found one? We can come visit if you like, move all of your extra stuff here into your dorm!" Rhian chimed in happy that you were moving on. Kei pat your shoulder and picked up your cards.

He made a face at Rhian, his attempt at "telekinesis" which failed. Rhian shrugged his shoulders and looked at Kei, confusion printing his face. Kei rolled his eyes and got up, hitting his back against the table. You jumped up out of your seat to help.

"Shit, Kei are you okay? Do you need Ice or something?" You scrambled around, not looking for anything in particular. He got up mumbling a 'Im fine' and walking out of the room.

this is so bad simply because when I say it's a filler chapter I mean I haven't updated in like a month so I'm jus giving y'all smth random until I get the next chapter sorted out 🥲
