"I can't handle you anymore, I'm going to bed." I huff.

"George wait-" I hear Nick start before I leave the Discord call. I lean back in my chair and let out a deep breath and cover my face with my hands. I then curl myself in a ball and start quietly choking on sobs. I hate fighting with Nick.

Nick has been my best friend since I was 14, and was the main reason I moved back to Florida.

I lived in the UK for most of my life, moving because of my fathers work. I had met Nick through a Minecraft server we both frequented. We soon became friends, and he was the reason I started streaming after convincing me to.

We got along so well, and he introduced me to a lot of his friends, who I also got along with. Like Karl and Alex, who goes by Quackity.

He apparently also had a roommate, but I don't know who he is. Apparently he also streams, but I don't know his name.

Nick considers his roommate to be one of his best friends. It's funny how that works. The person who he considers to be his best friend, has another best friend who he barely talks to.

Ping.

My thoughts are interrupted by a notification on my phone. I looks up at it on his desk and lean back in my chair, reading the message.

SnapMap:
Dude, I'm sorry, please talk to me

I look down at the phone and quickly type out a response.

Gogy:
No, we can talk tomorrow. I'm mad and tired

I shut off my phone and take a deep breath. A cool breeze from the cold Florida air creeps in through the cracked window. I had moved in yesterday and the first thing I set up after all the essential things is my streaming setup.

I was expecting to get on and steam today, but I ended up being more tired then I thought I would be, so I just decided to play some normal Minecraft. I also wasn't expecting to get into an argument with my best friend the day before I was supposed to meet up with him in person for the first time.

Ping.

I glance down at my phone again and open the notification.

SnapMap:
Please George. Can we sort this out before tomorrow?

Gogy:
We can sort it out tomorrow morning. I'm tired and I'm going to bed.
Goodnight

SnapMap:
Fine, goodnight George

I throw my phone back down on my desk and take a deep breath. The cold air hits my hot face again and I look up towards my window into the night. It was almost pitch black out, with a few streetlights illuminating the street.

I glance back down at my phone and at my pair of earbuds sitting on the other side of my desk. The cool air hitting my face again, the smell of the cold Florida air flooding into my room. I could hear the crashing of waves of the ocean off in the distance. The first night I slept here I made sure to leave my window open. I liked the sound of the waves.

I glance back down and bounce my eyes back and forth between my phone and earbuds before grabbing them both.

I put my earbuds in and connect to my phones Bluetooth. I pull up Spotify and pull up one of my playlists. I scroll down a bit before clicking on a song and walking out of my apartment.

I walk down the stairs and leave the building. The song blasting through my earbuds. I walk out of the building and start making my way down to the sidewalk. It was just past 12am at this point, so there wasn't anyone else on the sidewalk or cars on the road.
