She unblocks Alex's number and calls him. To her surprise he answers immediately.

She's taken aback at this.

The tone beeped, and Gwen sighed.

Three rapid explosions went off in the middle of Times Square. Ghost Spider, swung over and saw someone in the midst of all the chaos laughing.

Ghost Spider: Well if it isn't the new flavor of the day? What do they call you? Or you call yourself?!

The two begin fighting mid-air. The spider began to notice something. He kind of fights the same way Alex did whenever he would stand up for her or himself.
Ghost Spider: Where did you learn how to fight?!
The man stayed quiet. Opting to focus on the fight. Ghost Spider, was trying to focus on the fight but she couldn't. The way this new villain, talks, fights, hell even the way he moves, reminds her of her childhood friend.
Ghost Spider: Come On! At least tell me what you go by! So I know what to call you!
???: YOU CAN CALL ME GROUND ZERO! BUT ILL JUST CALL YOU THE EXTRA!
He says as he blasts the spider away. This knocked out the hero, Ground Zero chuckled.
Ground Zero: Oh how the mighty have fallen. The Extra never stood a chance.
He was about to rip off the mask of the hero when he heard the sound of a quinjet.
Ground Zero: You're Lucky Extra, the avengers are here. That's my que to leave. I'll find out who you are eventually.
He says as he blasts away.

The Spider woke up on the Helicarrier, in its infirmary.
Ghost Spider: My Head.... What happened?
Ironman: I was about to ask you the same thing.
The woman looked next to her and saw Tony Stark.
Ghost Spider: Mr. Stark!
Ironman: Hey kid. Listen, that guy is way out of your league, you should leave him to the X-Men.
Ghost Spider: No Way! That guy! Literally can make explosions from his hands! I think I even know how to stop him!
Ironman: I'm sorry kid but, he's a mutant terrorist, the X-Men have taken control of the situation.
Ghost Spider: No, I will be the one to take him down... I don't know why but I feel like I know him... Bye, Tony.
