After the broadcast Gwen figured out what building the broadcast came from. It came from the abandoned Alchemax building, in Harlem. So she suited up and met up with her partner Spider-Man.

When they met up Ghost Spider, told Spider-Man, about her plan.
Spider-Man: So where are we going?
Ghost Spider: The abandoned Alchemax building, in Harlem. I have a feeling, that's where Ground Zero is.
Spider-Man: What makes you so sure of that?
Ghost Spider: Well, during that broadcast, I noticed the surroundings of him. They looked just like the inside of the abandoned Alchemax Building!
Spider-Man: How do you even know what the inside of the building looks like?
Ghost Spider: Well.... Me and an old friend of mine, we used to love exploring abandoned buildings, our favorite being Alchemax. We would always find something new there.
The male spider nodded, and they made it to Alchemax. They came in through a window and saw Ground Zero. He was working on the device that he showed in his broadcast.
Ground Zero: Just a little more Nitroglycerin, and it'll be done...
Ghost Spider: He's making a bomb?
Spider-Man: Isn't he literally a human bomb?
Ground Zero, who still hasn't noticed the two, walked away from the Bomb(?), and grabs something.
Ground Zero: After I'm finished with the Brotherhood and the X-Men, or whoever else gets in my way... you're next Gwen!
He yells throwing a picture of Alex, and Gwen at the wall before shooting it with an explosive shot from his hand. Ghost Spider was able to catch a glimpse of the picture, it was a picture that she took with Alex, on the field trip to 6 flags in 10th grade before she joined the Mary Janes. This shocked her. Whoever Ground Zero is, knows her personally.
A/N: I don't know if I mentioned this, but, the first thing is, Ground Zero has a full face mask, hiding all of his features, like his hair color and eye color, he also obviously has a voice changer. That makes him sound like a really pissed off Jotaro Kujo.
Ground Zero: YOU STARTED THIS AND ILL END IT WITH YOU BITCH!
The terrorist yelled again. He adjusted his mask and wiped away some of the built up tears from his eye. The two heroes couldn't see who he was.
Ground Zero: I need to go blow off some steam.
He tells himself, he picks up his device and walks out of the room.
Ghost Spider: Who is he?!
Spider-Man: I want to know the same thing.
The two spiders begin to investigate the area. Ghost picked up what was left of the picture, it was extremely charred the side that Alex was on, but the side Gwen was on, was perfectly fine. She began to have a flashback of that day, she remembered it good, like it was Yesterday.
Alex: Hey Gwen!
Alex ran up to Gwen, they were in a group together.
Gwen: Hey Alex!
Alex: Hey we should take a picture to commemorate our first Date!
The two had a ongoing joke, that this field trip would be their first date. They actually really liked each other but, neither of them said anything. The two then took the took the picture.
Ghost Spider laughed remembering that day. One of the best days of their lives.
Spider-Man: What are you laughing about?
Ghost hides the picture behind her.
Ghost Spider: Just, some memories, I have in this place. They were good times.
The two continued to look around. Gwen however could only think of how, the main motivation of this villain, was being left behind. Also, that she apparently left him behind at some point.
Ghost Spider: Who have I left behind? God.... I mean I did abandon, Alex but I didn't leave him behind...
Spider-Man: Did you say something?
Ghost Spider: Nothing that you should worry about!
She continues to think about this as she's looking for clues on who he could be. Well, she knows who it is, but she doesn't want to believe, that her childhood friend is capable of murder, and terrorist Attacks.
Ground Zero: HOW THE FUCK DID YOU EXTRAS FIND THIS PLACE?!
