Gwen: I still can't believe that, that Ground Zero Guy blew up the Empire State Building.
Peter: I know... it's insane. But, the X-Men are on it. That mutant is probably, just scared.

Gwen: Yeah...
Then the news comes on, showing Ground Zero.
Ground Zero: Extras of Manhattan. I am Ground Zero. The one behind the Empire State Building Bombing. Now most of you are wondering who I am and why I did that?
He says, Gwen began to study the background of the video. She recognized some of the area. Gwen then paused the video to study it more.
Gwen: That place looks familiar....
Peter: What do you mean?
Gwen: Do you remember Alex? My ex-best friend?
Peter: Yeah, you told me about him a couple of times.
Peter said while scratching the back of his neck. Like he was hiding something from Gwen.
Gwen: Well, Alex and I used to hang out in abandoned buildings. That looks like one of the buildings we hung out in.
Peter: Really? Do you know what building it is?
Gwen: I'm gonna resume the video to see if I can find any other clues.
She resumed the video.
Ground Zero: My name is irrelevant, Ground Zero will Suffice. As to the reason why I'm doing this... is because... I was left behind. My friends, family, my race! I am a Mutant! Both The X-Men, and The Brotherhood, turned me away, because they thought I was faking being a mutant, all because I couldn't activate my ability.
He makes sparks in his hands.
Ground Zero: Well I can prove it now. Back then, it was only when I was pissed off, but now, I can activate it on command. Both factions want to recruit me, one so we can create equality for both Humans and Mutants, one so we can eradicate normal humans...
He states, as he walks out of frame but quickly comes back into frame with a device.
Ground Zero: But me I don't care about either side... they both left me behind. All I want now, is revenge. This device here will be the key to that. I won't be going down without a fight, so be prepared to kill me, because there's no way in hell I'm giving up this crusade to make everyone who left me behind pay. Starting with The Brotherhood, and ending with Manhattan, looking like an Atomic Bomb just went off.
