6 - Flowers

The awesome clean sweeper skin that was added to Don't Starve Together for V-Day absolutely inspired me to write this. It's a shame I didn't get it out in time for Feb 14 but I think it's cute regardless.

Wilson

Wilson is somewhat flattered, but mostly flustered that you got him flowers. It's such a sweet, romantic gesture that he's not even sure what to do with himself. He thanks you genuinely, with his face bright red, and feels all fuzzy and warm inside his chest. And then he proceeds to make sure they're excellently taken care of. He thinks of you every time he sees the bouquet.

Willow

Willow's immediate response is to call you a nerd and mess up your hair. But that's because she's caught with so many new emotions wracking her brain from the smallest form of affection. She loves the gift, despite how cheesy she teases you for being for getting her flowers. Though she tries very hard not to burn them and gets upset when she the petals catch fire. Get her more flowers.

Wolfgang

Wolfgang is ecstatic! He loves receiving flowers! Has he ever before? No, but now that he has experienced it, he's so happy that he can't stop telling everyone that you got him flowers. Though his excitement becomes worries when he accidentally crushes a few of the petals. He'll keep them until they're completely wilted away, and he'll always smile and think of you when he sees the gift.

Wickerbottom

She's so flattered, especially if the combination of flowers you got her have a special meaning. She's a sucker for details like that. Wickerbottom kisses you on the cheek, thanking you. She keeps them in a vase and prunes it and waters them regularly. They're right next to her bookcase because she wanted to make sure she saw them as often as possible. You should get her more flowers.

WX-78

They immediately start ripping the petals off. WX doesn't care for romantic organic gifts, but they guess they find the gifting of severed plants to be somewhat thoughtful. They did thoroughly enjoy destroying the organic life given to them. If that wasn't your intention, next time get them a box of gears.

Woodie

Flustered lumberjack. He's never gotten flowers either in his life but he's grinning ear-to-ear over getting these; even better if you get Lucy her own bouquet as well. He tries very hard to make sure they live long, but even if they don't he's never going to forget how happy he was when you got him flowers. He never knew flowers would make him this giddy!

Wigfrid

She is DELIGHTED. Getting flowers after a performance is common courtesy, so Wigfrid's kissing you passionately on the lips for the sweet gesture, even if that's not exactly what you meant when giving her the flowers. And she'll even go the extra mile and ask you to braid the flowers into her hair with her so she'll always have your gift close.

Wes

This dramatic mime starts fanning his face with the most lovesick smile on his face. Stars, he's so flattered! He's hugging you so tight! Surprisingl, he can manage to keep the flowers alive for quite a while, and that fact encourages him to get you flowers. He gets chased down by killer bees and returns with bloody rose petals.

Maxwell

This man has never received a bouquet of flowers. He scoffs that they aren't the darker kind which are more useful to him. But you know him better. Maxwell internally, is a mess, and that shows as he tries very hard to cover up his burning cheeks and act calm. He manages to dry the petals, and keeps them in a jar tucked in his tent, so your gift will never leave him.

Warly

Being that Warly is deeply sentimental, he's equal parts surprised and flattered at the gift of a lovely bouquet. The way he leans in to hug you warmly says that enough, if not the way he so carefully places it into wooden cup of water to keep the flowers alive. The man even preens them, and the others comment on how Warly sighs happily when he spots the gift. He jokingly says he expects a new bouquet when these ones die (he's only half-joking. Please get him another bouquet.)

Winona

Winona isn't much of a flower type of gal herself, not that she has anything against flowers, but she leans more towards practical or gag gifts. But, she'll never turn down a well meaning gift, and she accepts them with a big grin and a one-armed hug. The handywoman later finds out that the flowers are actually pretty fragrant, and mask the scent of grease and rust in her tent for a short while. Not that she minds the scent, but the floral smell reminds her of you.
