The sky was covered by grey clouds preventing the sunrays from illuminating the land, the drops of water began to fall from the sky over a large city with the wind blowing through the deserted area without any human presence. An imposing creature overlooked the cityscape, it was an eight-headed dragon with terrifying red eyes signifying death to all who saw them.

On the roof of a building in Tokyo, footsteps sounded as a boy stopped to stare at the huge dragon who spoke with a voice that could freeze anyone's blood. Equipped with a katana, he unsheathed a resplendent blade, ready to fight against the giant dragon capable of destroying the entire city.

"Do you think you are able to defeat me, (Y/N) Aisuru?"

"Of course, my ancestors managed to defeat you, this generation will do the same. I won't hesitate to fight you to protect my friends even if I have to die!"

The sound of an alarm clock rang and the scenery disappeared as (Y/N)'s eyelids slowly opened to meet the sunlight. His vision still blurred as he distinguished the ceiling of his room, a yawn escaped from his mouth and he got out of bed despite his fatigue. His room was just a simple room except for a poster of Son Goku on the wall and a bookcase with manga, video games and other books.

"That same dream... I guess I have to get ready for school, I don't want to be late again." He took a breath before glancing at a book on his desk called "The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter".

No clouds covered the sky, revealing the beautiful blue. A gentle breeze blew through the streets of Tokyo as a student walked towards his school. It was (Y/N) Aisuru, one of the worst student of Shuchiin Academy who was thinking about the last event that he had had with the Student Council.

He had managed to convince Chika, the girl he loved to go with him to the cinema, but he felt bad for excluding Kaguya. Maybe he had hurt her feelings since he hadn't even offered her to go with him? Of course, his reason was justified for not asking her, but he felt bad about Shinomiya when he had offered to everyone in the room, except her.

"Fine, I'll ask Kaguya to go see a movie with me."

A few hours later, the morning classes had finally ended, but everyone was surprised by (Y/N) who seemed to be paying attention to the teachers' explanations while he was used to sleeping in class. In truth, (Y/N) wasn't really following the lessons, but was rather focused on the movie to propose to Kaguya who was in the same class as him.

A sigh escaped as he left his seat and approached Kaguya surprised by Aisuru's voice. She turned her cold gaze towards the boy who seemed uncomfortable making this proposal to her in class as the curious eyes of his classmates turned to them. (Y/N) asked her to talk somewhere else as she began to blush, imagining a declaration of love from the boy who had finally fallen in love with her.

Trembling from the stress, Kaugya nodded with smoke coming out of her head because of her blushing. She left the classroom with the boy leaving the others talking about (Y/N)'s since they thought (Y/N) was going to declare his love for Shinomiya. The two were now in a discreet place in the schoolyard away from the others so that he could ask her to come to the cinema with him without being seen or heard by anyone.

"Kaguya, I'm sorry I asked you to come here, but I have something to tell you."

"Is he finally going to ask me to go out with him? This is too sudden, I don't feel ready..."

"It took me a little while to realise it, but I was wrong."

"He realised how beautiful I am, he finally fell in love with me! You decided to take the good decision, I'm glad to hear it Aisuru..." She said, blushing shyly with a smile as the boy looked confused.
