The group walked into the house, there was a nice warmth about it and all at once everyone felt at home. Sam and Jewel headed straight to the piano and started playing tunes, Beth plugged in her ps4 and went to the microwave which was surprisingly working, to heat up potato, Jordan and Nat daydreamed about perth City whilst sitting on the couch, Theo, Caleb and Nick watched Netflix and Abi and Zac ate rice. Everyone was feeling really at home.
An hour goes by after the friends had become comfortable. "Im going to go for a shower" Nick spoke up unnecessarily. Nick sprawled up from his position and walked to the shower by himself. He undressed, and stepped into the mossy tiled shower.
When Nick turned on the water, what looked like human intestines oozed out of the shower, he accidentally swallowed some and started choking. A mix of screaming and coughing could be heard. Sam and Abi ran straight to the shower only to find a what looked like a dead Nick on the floor in the foetal position and covered in blood. A feeling the girls had never felt before came over them and a massive lump formed in the throat of Abi.
A voice in her head seemed to play the words "you're next" on loop. She had not lived her life to the fullest and all morals aside Abi did what she knew best, her survival instinct kicked in and she ran straight out the room leaving her two friends alone.
