Now, would anyone read your story if you do not have a good description!

This is an example I just made up,

'Once upon a time there was a girl named Honora, She is a vampire.'

Whats wrong with that description?

ITS NOT A DESCRIPTION!

It does not have information and does not intrigue the reader into reading it, heres another description I made up, same idea, but with more details.

'Meet Honora, when she found out she was a vampire, her world was turned upside down. That, was 2 years ago. Now, she was used to drinking blood, the speed she was gifted, and her gift. Mind Control. She also got used to Bruce, the human that stuck to her like glue, he also has a gift, he can block other gifts. Join Honora on her journey through pain, love, hatred, and being a Vampire.'

Now THAT, Is a description, It has the mystery in it, hooking the reader and keeping them pulled in.
