3rd Person's POV
On a piping hot, scorching heat, killing sun day, you and your brothers all gathered in the living room, some fanning themselves and others joining in, some taking their shirt off, some laying in different positions to hopefully find a 'cool relaxing' sleep, and some accepting the abusive heat as sweat runs down their temples
Unfortunately, there was a power outage at your street due to some electrical issues and was getting fixed on a hot afternoon, so no air conditioning to help them with. They all gathered to the living room since they have nothing to do alone in their rooms anymore
"When are they going to finish? I'm bathing in my own sweat" complains a whining Taehyung
"What the- why don't you take a bath?" asks Jin
"Already did" Taehyung replies lazily
Then, they suddenly heard the cute little bell sound of an ice cream truck outside,
"ICE CREAM TRUCK" yells the youngest, you
"Quick, before it goes away!"
All of you went out (not before the others wore back their shirts) and tried to chase the truck who is stopping to serve 3 kids with their parents, but alas, they have to run, for the truck was 2 crossings away
1 kid was served, you ran while bringing the money, Jin relied on your speed since you were the youngest and had the most energy. You ran as fast as you could but was stop when there was a long lane of huge trucks passing by
"What the, what are these doing here?!" You complained
"Probably those.. fixing dudes.. let me breath for a moment" Jungkook says, struggling to catch his own breath
You tried to peak and there were 2 kids left with their parents, you panicked because you knew the truck won't pass by since it is faced the opposite way your facing
Finally, the long lane of trucks ended and you ran again but was finally running out of stamina, you have limits too, and held your knee for a quick breath. But then, you heard the sound of the truck preparing to leave and you panicked, all the sweat, all the running, all for nothing!
You tried chasing it again, but it was too fast, so you stopped
Jungkook catched up and looked back at the others who were just walking because of the tiredness, they didn't have the stamina and speed that both you and Jungkook have
"Agh, what are we going to do.." Jungkook whines
"Um.. Excuse me" a little girl asks, you crouched down to get on her level and almost screech at her adorable cheeks
"My mummy noticed you probably wouldn't catch up on the ice cream truck, so she bought you a tub of it" she says, handing them the huge tub that fits 7 people
"Oh my, thank you so much!" You happily clapped and gave the absolutely adorable kid a hug and some money to compensate, the little kid ran to her mother and you waved her thanks
"That mom seems familiar" Jungkook mumbles and you agreed
"Its the mom who has a crush on Namjoon-oppa"
Jungkook widened his eyes and furrowed it after
"No it wasn't, it was the other one next door!"
"It is! I always thought she was a creep but Namjoon oppa is old enough to marry a mom"
"It's the little money grabbing woman everyone is talking about. Everyone knows what her trick is, and he is NOT marrying a MOM" Jungkook says, and you both ran to them back and the others greeted the both of you with cheers and went back to the house
when you arrived, happily eating the ice cream, the power suddenly turned back on. Jin suddenly remembered that there's suppose to be a change since he gave you too much than enough.
"Oh, it was the other girl next door" you agreed to Jungkook's statement earlier, to which Jungkook nods at her in an 'I told you so' manner
