6: Alone at home

3rd person's pov

People grow as time passes. They develop  improve, and gain knowledge as they enter schools and get busier everytime another year pass by. The eldest Jin and Hoseok finally out to work at a huge company, Yoongi finally starting his career plans of becoming the worlds' greatest rapper, and the rest entered college

as the youngest, you see them get busier and come home late and the more the years pass by, the more you noticed the change of their behaviors. Jin and Hoseok would be less energetic, Yoongi wouldn't come home, Namjoon, Jimin and Taehyung were at their boardinghouse a lot and wouldn't come home because of business of trying to finish their paperworks, and Jungkook coming home late after going to his groupmate at a capstone research.

You, were still at the 11th grade. You knew the struggles, and you also wished you didn't have them. You were academically smart, but you were much motivated before because of the cheerfulness and loud noises your brothers would make in the living room. Whom would get the remote control, who would get which chips those are, and who would get to sit at the most comfiest couch.

You missed those days

You were not scared of being alone, you hated it. The feeling of not being able to talk your thoughts out to someone was really disturbing you. You usually talk to Taehyung, he wasn't the best at giving advices but you were thankful for that since you only wanted to talk your heart out. He was a good listener and would give out random comments like "He did that?" or "That's jus not it" in a sassy kind of manner (he thinks it's the reason why you omly talk to him so he would act like this to get you hyped up in talking more)

But this time, you can't. He was at another person's house now, probably doing his thesis and trying to look for help from a graduating Namjoon

"Ugh finally, and end to this stupid research" Jungkook says as he lays down the couch, talking about how it was finally the last day of academics. He was about to graduate

And that means you'll have to be alone

"I'm definitely not ready to experience what you experience" You said while sitting on the floor with your snacks. Getting the tv ready to watch your favorite cartoon

"Aren't you too old for cartoons?"

"Aren't you too dumb to graduate"

"Hey!" Jungkook nags and spanked your head while also trying to get some snacks beside you, you didn't mind this time

"Wow, you usually had to cut my hand everytime i take your food"

"Well I got to make every moment count, since your going to college"

That silenced him and furrowed his brows. You weren't really aware of what you said and just brushed it off as a simple conversation and continued with your cartoon,

He finally caught on to what your point was

"Oh come on, you have Jin hyung and Hoseok hyung to keep you company" he says, trying to cheer you up

"Yeah, I do" You said and went to the kitchen to refill your glass of fresh milk

You watch as Jungkook placed his bags in the car, he was going to another college with free tuition and was given an opportunity for a half scholarship, it was truly a miracle that even you didn't want to believe it

"See, I am smart" he claims while taking the last bag from you

"Yeah, guess you are" you said lowly, but not enough to make Jungkook rest his hand on his hips

"Want a debate then?"

"I'd rather have you leave than debating about how much women would be into you"

"I-you.." he says, fake throwing something at you and you dodged as if something were actually going to hit you

"I'm actually going to miss you" Jungkook claims, and you just stood there

"Really?"

"Yeah, don't worry. No matter how busy I am, I'll make up some time and maybe we could go for some shopping" he squeals and you followed

"Oh my god we should go to that new mall beside the old casino! There's a book I wanted to buy"

"No we should go for some samgyupsal"

"But, books!"

"Food!"

"Books!"

"Just get in" Jin, who was inside the car, nagged Jungkook and you both laughed

"Maybe books and food." Jungkook says one last time before giving you a hug and entering the car

You waved good-bye as the car goes,

Now you really felt alone.
