Take away all joy and my favourite toy
The mobile phone and the place I call home
Flaying cars and space trips to mars
The designer clothes and the greatest shows
A round the world trip on a luxury cruise ship
For I don't want them if it means losing you
Take away all the food and every mood
The ability to cook and the way that I look
All luxury goods and the sweetest foods
Take my sight and the need to be right
The one that I cherish and all that will perish
For I don't want them if it means losing you
Take away my senses and all pretenses
The stars from the sky and the need to know why
The highest mountain, the coolest fountain
Take the sun, the moon, later and soon
All of the wealth, take even my health
For I don't want them if it means losing you
Take the air I breath and all I can achieve
Stop the church bells, empty out the wells
Cancel all leave and take all I believe
Silence the ocean, take away my promotion
All that I desire, throw it in the fire
For I don't want them if it means losing you
Will dry every tear, wash away every fear
Here and there, neither dark nor fair
Not far or near, ever here
Unseen, unborn, without form
Cannot be found, unbound
No battle to be won, or deed to be done
For you and I are one
