Moving In

6 months ago (not the exact time line but let's just go with it) I passed out during an investigation. Apparently what happened was a demon attached itself to me and I had to have an exorcism. Since then I have taken a break from ghost hunting, but I have started to miss it. So I've been having more lessons from Patti and other medians around the area. The others went on a TFIL trip leaving me at home to sell my apartment so that Corey and I can move in together. Yes it may seem quick, but in these last 6 months we basically already live together. We've been on many dates and got to have some normal couple time.
I also started my own YouTube channel recently due to many people asking. Corey and I also announced our relationship, which everyone seems ok about, actually more or less everyone is excited or said 'I knew it'.

Now I'm here putting away my clothes into mine and Corey's bedroom. I hear the door open then close. Corey's voice rings through the apartment asking where I am
"In here!" I call back opening up yet again another box full to the brim of clothes. I hear multiple footsteps walking towards me. Looking up I see my brother with an evil smiles "oh no. What's he doing here? Why's he looking at me like that? What's he done?" both Elton and Corey chuckle
"He has a question, he asked me first but I said I don't know and it was up to you"
"Babe your making no sense right now" I put down my clothes and stand up nervously looking between Corey and Elton
"It's been 6 months Thea. I've booked us to go the House of Death in New Orleans. I want you to come with us"
"Who's us?" I ask crossing my arms
"Me, Corey, Corbin, Brandon and Josh"
"When?"
"In 2 days"
"2 days!" I yell, my eyes widening "Elton you can't just spring something like that on to me. I need time to think. I was literally possessed by a demon and you want me to jump right back into this world like nothing happened?"
"Why don't we get some food and talk about it yeah?" Corey suggests
"I don't know about food but a bottle of wine sure" I say making my brother and boyfriend laugh
"We will be carful. You've spoken to Patti about what to do to protect yourself and we really could do with you and your psychicness"
"Ok one, I haven't used them since the queen Mary which I think is cursed. And two psychicness isn't a word. Just give me till tomorrow to think about it. Please?"
"Of course. I best get going, just wanted to ask you. I'll check in with you tomorrow" Elton pulls me into a hug and kisses the top of my head
"Ok" I reply then watch him leave mine and Coreys apartment. Since what happened Elton is a lot more protective and... kind I guess. Don't get me wrong we bicker like crazy, but he shows he cares a lot more, but I know my brother and I know if I say yes to this trip he's going to push me
"You ok?" Corey asks pulling me out of my thoughts
"Yeah. Sorry. Just thinking.... What if it happens again?"
"It won't, but if it does you'll be ok. Just like last time" Corey tucks some hair behind my ear before placing a gently kiss on my forehead
"I'm surprised your up for all of this to be honest"
"So am I, but Im curious. Can't help it" he shrugs his shoulders
"Same. I kinda miss it, the ghost hunting. I'm just scared"
"I know"
"At first I thought being a physic would be interesting, fun even, but if it means getting possessed again I don't want..."
"Hey hey hey look at me" Corey places his hands on the sides of my face and I finally look at him who's looking at me with sympathetic eyes "I won't let that happen again. If you decided to join us, you tell us the moment you feel ill and I'll leave immediately with you"

Flashback
Elton, Corey, Corbin and Brandon watch as Thea passes out, her body collapsing on the ground
"Oh my... Thea? Thea can you hear me? Elton what's happened?" Corey shouts crouching down next to his girlfriend trying to wake her up. Elton stands staring at his little sister full of worry and shock
"Get her in the car. Let's go to the hospital, she could have hit her head" Corbin suggests. Elton finally snaps out of whatever trance he was in and immediately lifts Thea up and takes her to the car where he drives her to the hospital.
