Getting Back Into It

*beep beep beep*
"Babe turn it off" I groan hearing the alarm blaring from Corey's side of the bed. I hadn't long managed to fall asleep so I could do with sleeping for longer. When Corey doesn't respond I give him a nudge which earning a groan off him "what time is it?" Corey yawn before replying to me
"4:15, Elton's picking us up in an hour" Corey sits up turning the bedside lamp on then rubs the sleep from his eyes "I'm gonna have a quick shower. I'll leave it on for you" I grunt acknowledging him before he heads to our on suite. I lay back down thinking about what I have gotten myself into. I agreed to do the overnight, as long as I can leave if I feel sick or lightheaded. I'm nervous for sure, but no matter how nervous I am, I'm actually really excited to be getting back into ghost hunting. I'm also excited to hang out with Brandon, Corbin and Evan. 15 minutes go by and I hear Corey exit the shower. Sighing I sit up in bed and stretch
"Showers all yours"
"Thanks" I yawn making Corey chuckle
"You can sleep in the car and on the plane"
"Was going to anyway" I laugh getting out of bed.

After getting myself ready Elton picks Corey and I up. Evan, Brandon and Corbin are already in the car waiting. I flop into a seat without saying a word because all I want to do is go back to sleep. Corey greets everyone since he's a lot more jolly than I am. I get my seatbelt on and lean my head on Corey's shoulder with my eyes closed
"Everyone ready?" Elton asks, everyone says yes except for me who says no making everyone laugh
"Shhh I'm sleeping" I yawn
"Dude you're jackets going to have foundation all over it" Corbin laughs
"I drenched my face in setting spray it'll be fine" I sigh still with my eyes closed "now I'm going back to sleep. Wake me up when we get to the airport"
"Ok" Corey pats my cheek gently.

The car ride then plane ride go quickly. We all get to the hotel get our key cards then head to our rooms. Elton and Evan share a room, Corbin and Brandon share a room and corey and I share a room. I flop on to the bed with a sigh
"Why are you so tired?"
"If I'm being honest I didn't sleep very well last night"
"Nervous?" Corey asks sitting on the bed next to me. I give him a nod as I sit up "come here" I move next to Corey who wraps me up in his arms "like I said before, what happened to you won't happen again. We're going to be more careful"
"I know" I sigh as Corey plays with my hair "what happened last time just really scared me"
"Scared all of us as well. We all thought you were going to die" I look up at Corey with raised eyebrows
"I'm serious. And when the doctor couldn't actually find anything wrong with you it worried us"
"Instead I was just being possessed by a demon"
"It's not going to happen again"
"You can't promise that"
"Well even if it does we know what to do. Now let's take a nap together before Elton needs us to be ready" I give Corey a little nod and we lay down together on the bed. I lay my head on Corey's chest before falling asleep once again.
