A year

It's been a year since Buck asked Eddie out. They have moved in together, and their connection is stronger than ever.

"Babyyy! It's time to get up," Buck says gleefully as he pulls the covers off of Eddie

"Hey bubs," Eddie softly whispers as he tries to wake up. He sits up and rubs his weary eyes as Buck sits down on his lap. Eddie looks up into his ocean blue eyes. "What we doing for our one year beautiful?"

"I was thinking we could do what we did when I asked you out." Buck smiles as he squishes Eddie's face

"A picnic?" Eddie questions

"Yeah, if you want to, I know it's simple but we can sit under the same tree we did last year" Buck smiles as he takes his hands from his face and holds his hands instead

"I'd love that. We can do it for all the years to come too." Eddie smiles as he kisses Buck lightly

"Alright, well, you get ready, and I will pack the basket," Buck suggests as he climbs off of Eddie

"Ok," Eddie agrees as he begins to get ready

Buck finishes up in the kitchen and then roots behind the jars in the cupboard and pulls a box from behind them. He opens it and gives the ring a kiss, hoping today goes to plan.

An hour passes, and they are sat under the tree snuggling up to each other. Talking about their lives and the memories they've made. The day goes by full of laughs, giggles, and a lot of flirting. The sun is beginning to set

"Hey, how about we get a photo?" Buck asks as he ruffles Eddies hair

"Sure," Eddie excites as he loves the photos Buck takes

"Alright, you stand over there, and I'll set the camera up." Buck rests the camera up against the tree and sets it to record. He walks over to Eddie and poses like they are taking a photo. He then twizzles Eddie around so they are no longer facing each other

"Buck?" Eddie questions as he turns back around and sees Buck down on one knee with a box in his hand. He opens the box up, and the ring glistens in the sunset. Eddie can't believe it as he firmly places his hand over his mouth in shock.

"Eddie Diaz. The love of my life. It has been one year since I did the best thing ever. Ask you to be my boyfriend. When you said yes, it was the best response I have ever heard in my life. This past year has been the best year of my life. We have had our ups and downs, but we have always got through it and came through stronger on the other side. We have supported each other through everything, and I will never leave your side. I don't think you will truly ever understand how much you mean to me. You are the love of my life, my happiness, the reason I try every day. I love you, Eddie. And I want to be the lucky man you say yes to and spend the rest of my life with." Buck slightly cries

"Yes, of course, I love you too," Eddie replies as tears roll down his face

Buck softly grabs Eddie's hand and slips the ring on his finger. He then stands up and kisses him lightly. They hug each other, and he then goes back to the camera and shuts it off.

"I love you so much," Eddie cries as he holds Buck in his arms. After a few hours, they set back off home.

They walk through the door when Eddie pins Buck up against it when he closes it.

"You might not want to do that," Buck giggles

"Huh?" Eddie questions as Buck turns the light on so the house lights up

"CONGRATULATIONS!" Everyone shouts as they blow party horns and play music

"Oh my," Eddie stands in shock as he looks at Buck and kisses him. "How did you?"

"After you said yes. I sent Hen a confirmation text. So that when we came back, we could have a party. " Buck giggles

"You continue to amaze me, Evan Buckley." Eddie smiles as he holds his hand, and they make their way over to everyone for drinks and hugs. They spend the night partying, and when everyone leaves, they spend an hour to themselves ;P
