The cat lies,
Warm from the sunlight;
A simiply calming,
And serene sight.
A gentle purr,
A quiet vibration;
As it sits completely,
In peaceful isolation.
But there, it's a mouse,
A lion stalking it's prey;
Eyes wide with focus,
The huntress comes out to play.
She snatches the mouse,
A prize fair and true;
She shows it proudly,
To the one who is you.
