I'm not like,
the girls you know;
I don't go to the spa,
or polish my toes.
I'd rather play games,
like Fortnite or Fable;
Than sit with a man,
at a dining table.
You don't have to,
buy me flowers;
I'd rather you take me,
to the park after hours.
I might not spend,
all your money on my looks;
But I'll certainly spend it,
on a handful of books.
I don't really care,
what guys think of me;
I'd rather my soul,
be the thing that people see.
I don't dress in tight pants,
or even tight shirts,
Why would I want to wear,
something that hurts?
I'm different,
you'll see;
I'm not like anyone else,
I'm just me.
