So, anyone remember that au I had where Petey died instead of his mom who then took his role in the og story line? Yeah, forget everything i made about that au. I made a better version.
Heyo! Cozmo here. Anyone remember my old DP! Dog Man au? I'm surprised some of you do. Anywho, here's some context:
-All the characters are switched with another in some way (Zuzu and Greg the dog, Sarah and Chief, Molly and Flippy, ect.)
-There are two parts to this au. Version 1 is just the original Dog Man timeline. Although, in version 2, things start to get supa wacky in/after book 7
-Petey's mom is named Sydney. His dad is Peter. His parents were very healthy together and the Duckhats were a very nice family, but after they (Peter and Sydney) reconnect in For Whom The Ball Rolls, they're just friends.
-Peter is not super unlikeable/hate-able. Instead, Sydney's mother takes the role of Grampa.
-Sydney has a clone Li'l Sydney, who looks just like her but the patterns are switched. Example:

-Petey's dead but tries to communicate with Li'l Sydney in the ✨afterlife✨ (idfk)
-Sydney's mom (i will just refer to her as "Gramma" now) killed Petey because she's horrible and I hate her >:( (I am still currently trying to figure out HOW she killed him)
-Peter left in order to save Sydney and Petey (although, he did fail) For context read this:

-After not being able to heal after Petey's death, Sydney just. Idk became evil ig.
-i just realized that I don't know how Peter would've gotten to Sydney's house in FWTBR. Possibly Sydney mentioned him to LS? maybe smth like Sydney could've mentioned him. In the part where Li'l Petey and Petey were talking and Li'l Petey was like "You have a papa who loves you?" And Petey's like "well duh!" (or smth idk) and begins to talk about how he left his mom, Sydney could be like "she never approved of my relationship with someone" about Gramma or something
- Dog Man in this au is Zuzu and Officer Milly instead of Greg and Officer Knight. I'm not sure what her name could be ("dog cop"? Just plain old "Zuzu"?)
-Sydney's taller than Peter. Idk why but I wanted to add that in there lmao
