After three days of rest, today was my wedding.
I was again ready in my bridal attire and was walking to the courtroom, to get married to the love of my life and the father to my child.
I did not wanted any obstacles today. I could feel it, it was going to be a happy day.

We started by first worshiping Lord Ganesha and honoured the other gods.

We were  now walking around the sacred fire.
"You will offer me food and be helpful in every way. I will cherish you and provide welfare and happiness for you and our children." He said while walking in front of me.

"I am responsible for the home and all household, food and finance responsibilities" by this we completed our first phera.

"Together we will protect our house and children." He took the second vow.

"I will be by your side as your courage and strength. I will rejoice in your happiness. In return, you will love me solely." I took my second vow

"May we grow wealthy and prosperous and strive for the education of our children and may our children live long." He said

"I will love you solely for the rest of my life, as you are my husband. Every other man in my life will be secondary. I vow to remain chaste." I promised with all my heart, and we completed out third vow.

"You have brought sacredness into my life, and have completed me. I will always respect you. May we be blessed with noble and obedient children." He declares

"I will shower you with joy, from head to toe. I will strive to please you in every way I can." I took my fourth vow.

"You are my best friend, and staunchest well-wisher. You have come into my life, enriching it. God bless you." He expressed his gratitude and wished for me.

"I promise to love and cherish you for as long as I live. Your happiness is my happiness, and your sorrow is my sorrow. I will trust and honor you, and will strive to fulfill all your wishes." I promised.

"Now that you have taken six steps with me, you have filled my heart with immense happiness. Will you do the kindness of filling my heart with happiness like this for all times?" He told me the depth of his happiness and asked me.

"I will always be by your side."  I happily declared.

"We are now husband and wife, and are one. You are mine and I am yours for eternity." With the final vow, he announced the we were one.

"As God is witness, I am now your wife. We will love, honor and cherish each other forever." We completed our vows.

After that, Raj tied the sacred thread around my neck. I looked towards him and found him looking at me lovingly. I immediately retrieved my eyes and blushed. Then he filled the partition of me hair with vermilion, some of it fell on my nose and I giggled.
All the rituals were completed we were now husband and wife. We took the blessings of our elders and the celebration continued. Everyone was happy. People came and congratulated us.
We were to stay here today and move to his house tommorow morning.
