Evelyn Cabral sighs heavily as she switches through TV channels rapidly, nothing worth catching her attention. With a single huff flowing from her lips, mixing with irritation. Sitting impatiently on her sofa waiting for her boyfriend to show up at any minute.
Billy Loomis.
The boy who most girls would die for, and drop to their knees staring in awe. The Loomis boy always had that charm over girls, and he knew it too. At the end of the day the girl who caught his attention from day one since he laid his eyes on her. Evelyn Cabral.
The love of his life.
Laying his eyes on her jet-black hair, and her always dark red colored lips. Plump lips, dark brown eyes. Everything about Eve made him want to fall to his knees and worship her. Only her. Nobody else. They could be the most skinny, flawless skin, all of those unnecessary things didn't matter to the Loomis boy. The way she would just be in his presence alone made him happy, a feeling he thought he would never have after his mom left.
Eve clicked her freshly painted black nails against the TV remote. Eve turned to her side to see the time, 10:45 pm.
Eve stands up from the sofa as she rubs her eyes, making her way to the fridge to grab a bottle of water. Eve was close to going up to bed and falling asleep instead of waiting, Billy previously said he was going to swing by earlier way before 10. Eve took a sip of her water before placing it back down on her brown coffee table, she went towards her shiny black bag digging looking for her pack of cigarettes. Eve made her way outside to her front porch lighting up her cigarette.
She couldn't help but stare at the stars, pitch dark outside & cold.
"What did I tell you about smoking?"
A voice spoke up from the dark, causing Eve to jump in fear. Billy Loomis made his way to his girlfriend an upset look spread across his face, Billy hated when Eve would begin to start smoking. Eve rolled her eyes and chuckled a bit, "And what did I tell you about being late,"
Technically Eve had a reason to be upset. Billy walked up to his girlfriend, wrapping his arms around Eve, his hands landing on her hips pulling her closer to him diving for a kiss. "I'm sorry please forgive me, my love,"
Speaking through kisses, "You know I love you right?"
"Yes I know, but what took you so long?" Eve questions her boyfriend wanting to know his reason for being late, pulling away from him but still staying in his arms. Oh how much she loves his warmth, his touch alone is enough for her to cause a smile on her face. Ever since freshman year and she first laid eyes on Billy, their eyes connecting with each other's she knew from that moment it wasn't going to be their last time seeing each other. Throughout the year they started to hang out around each other.
Watching horror movies together, going out with friends, and eventually just with each other. Slowing Billy began to make moves on Eve, so slick she didn't even notice sometimes. The first boy to take her virginity, she fell in love with him.
The two have been through a lot with each other, losing a parent and going through rough patches but in the end, they still came out strong together. That's a thing Eve loves about Billy, no matter what they go through he's always by her side. Hip to hip throughout high school. But one thing that didn't pass Eve is when Billy's mother left out of the blue, with no call, no message not even a note to say goodbye to her son. Eve knew it pained Billy but he never wanted to show it, always trying to cover it up.
