Chapter 7

THE NIGHT BEFORE THE FIGHT AGAINST THE ARMY THE CULLENS, EXCLUDING EDWARD, HAD GONE HUNTING. And with that Jack wasn't in forks either. He had gone to Oregon to sort something out, but he said he'd be back before the fight tomorrow

Which is why it was so confusing when Hazel heard a knock at her door that night. Her head snapped up from the book she was reading, her mind running miles a minute wondering who it could be

She picked up her sword that was beside her bed and put some socks on before she slowly made her way downstairs careful not to make any noise

The knocks grew a bit louder but from the pressure it almost felt as if the door would fall off

Hazel got to the door and peered the the eye piece and outside stood someone she didn't recognise. She took a deep breath and opened the door quickly and with one look at the person she knew it was a vampire

It bared its teeth at her and let out a growl ready to jump but Hazel quickly raised her sword, slicing through the top of his head, and splitting his body in half

His body crumpled to the floor and she let out a shaky breath, taking her phone out and calling someone

She didn't know whether to call Jasper because he was hunting but he did say no matter what she could call him and he'd answer. But then again the problem had been diminished so maybe she didn't need to call him

But also there was just a body in her house

Her phone ran seconds after and Hazel jumped beofre putting the phone to her ear

"You wasn't gonna call me?" Jasper questioned through the line and Hazel just smiled

"I didn't know whether to. I didn't want to disturb your hunting"

"You didn't disrupt anything Darlin, we were all on our way back when Alice had the vision. But from what she knew it was actually gonna happen a second after she got out the vision. They must've been playing with the blind spots again"

"What do I do? With the body?"

"We'll be 10 minutes just put it in your backyard since no one can see inside"

Ten minutes later Hazel opened the door of her house to see most of the Cullens standing in front of her. She smiled and opened the door wider allowing them inside

"I can't believe we've never saw your house. It's beauful" esme gushed and hazel smiled

"Jack did everything, designed it, bought it" a few of them chucked as she lead them through the house and to the backyard where the 2 pieces of the body were

"Wow, clean cut" Carlisle hummed

"Fucking hell hazel. What did you kill him with? I thought we couldn't be hurt by weapons" hazel pulled out her belt which turned into a sword and emmetts eyes widened
