Chapter 8

BOTH THE CULLENS AND THE WOLVES SAT IN THE LIVING ROOM OF JACKS HOUSE HEARING THE SCREAMS OF HAZEL who was with Carlisle and Jack as Carlisle reset her bones back in place

Carlisle made his way downstairs once it was over, everyone's eyes going to him immediately

"The worst in over, she'll be alright. I have her on some morphine but her body isn't really made for that. So she'll burn it off soon. She wants to speak to the wolves first saying they actually have to sleep. So you guys can go up there" they all let out small snickers before they stood up and made their way upstairs

The first person that walked into the room was Paul and he sighed as he saw her covered in sweat and bandaged

"Hazel, you crazy woman" he mumbled walking over to her, his eyes already tearing up

"Don't cry Paul" she whispered
"I'm okay"

"But you're not. You're in this position because of me. I'm so sorry"

"Because I care about you Paul. There was no way I was ever gonna let you be in my place. I'm your protector remeber? And you don't ever have to feel sorry about me doing that for any of you" He let off a small scoff and a smile she returned
"Can you guys come in here?" Hazel questioned the guys who were standing outside the door. The pack smiled and made their way in

"You kicked ass out there today" embry spoke as he stood around with them all

"I know. I wish there was like a video recording I could watch. It was fun" she smiled at Seth's sour face. He hadn't been allowed to be in the big fight since he was so young

Jared: "Yeah. Well don't go making any enemies again. It might've been fun but we're not looking to have to get in a another vampire army fight"

"You guys look like shit" she mumbled and they rolled their eyes

Leah: "like you look any better" Hazel let out a laugh, rolling her eyes and Sam put his hands on embrys shoulders

"We're glad you're okay Hazel" he said and she smiled

"We'll come back tomorrow as well, with Emily because she's dying to see if your okay" she let out a small laugh as did everyone else

"I'll see you guys soon" Paul walked over and pressed a kiss to the top of her head before he left the room with the others and soon after Jasper knocked on the door

"Got room for a few more?" Only Jasper, rosalie, Emmett and Alice were there. Esme had gone with Carlisle to get more morphine and Edward was with Bella for the time being as she was in a jacob crisis but he would be there later

"I might" she heard Emmett chuckle and they all walked in, the image reminding her of the last time she was hurt.
"Why does this look strangely familiar? You all worried and me hurt?"
