What is it, that you are truly best at? Something in which barely anyone could compare to you?
What is your passion?

To a certain woman named Homura, there hadn't been such a thing for a long time.
Growing up in an aristocratic and wealthy Inazuman family, with loving parents and possessing many highly valuable resources, one might think Homura lived a fulfilled and happy childhood.

But as a child, she would always somehow stand in the shadow of her older sister, who is named Akira - someone who never had to struggle at anything. Akira was perfect in every way; beautiful, elegant, skillful, intelligent.. the older sister seemingly had it all.
The parents of the two sisters never missed out on a chance to brag about their first-born daughter.

"Look at Akira, she truly is a perfect example for this family!"
A sentence that would always only contain the name 'Akira', but never once they would say 'Homura' instead.

Homura is currently around the age of 22 years. She has very long, thick black hair, with a thick strand of hair falling into her face, while several other strands would frame her face in a flattering way. Homura had lavender colored eyes, which would always observe everything and anyone, along with clear, cool toned skin and a very flexible, athletic body.

As a child, Homura had no outstanding skills or talents, so her parents never really knew what to do with her. The younger sister was never really mistreated in any way, yet.. it didn't go unnoticed by her how the parents thought about the young girl.
But one thing that did stand out was Homura's enormous curiosity, which would soon develop into a sharp perception and therefore, into quite a high level of intelligence.
The black haired girl loved to discover new things and find out information about all kinds of matters which she took an interest in.

This didn't go unnoticed by the Inazuman Bantan Sango Detective Agency, which naturally caught word of the curious young girl named Homura, who would often sneak around outside, play-pretending that she was a detective. Eventually, members of the Agency would play with Homura, teaching her small tricks in which the girl found a lot of interest in. Soon enough, the detectives realized that Homura did possess quite the talent, given her good intuition and sharp mind.

Since her parents were often way too busy with keeping up their wealthy, perfect face along with fixing Akira onto the "perfect daughter" image, Homura was free to roam around; nobody really noticed her being out anyways. After the younger sister had turned fourteen years old, the members of the detective agency decided to surprise the girl with her very first own case - it wasn't a dangerous task, yet it required a high level of concentration and perception to solve it.

Homura succeeded with an outstanding result, leaving some of the detectives quite speechless. For a teenager, Homura had an enormous talent, they thought. Her intelligence, her logic skill, her knowledge about human behavior and her overall very sharp intentions would always act in her favor - she was never wrong and would always discover the truth eventually.

On that day, Homura found her passion. Her desire to uncover every unsolved mystery in Teyvat, with her own skills. She knew just how good she was in what she did.
Not much later on, the dark haired girl obtained a Pyro Vision. It seemed that the gods had also seen her large potential to change the world for the better, and responded to it.

Homura was highly motivated to improve her skills since that day, because she realized that she had finally found her talent, something she would perhaps become the very best at one day - her passion, one could say.
The parents of the family were suddenly very happy and very invested with their younger daughter. Having let her stay by herself for most of the time, Homura was now being treated with a lot of love and pride. Suddenly, she became the new figurehead of the family - a vision holder, oh how much joy she brought to her parents with that. Also, becoming a detective at such a young age already - the parents were overly satisfied.
