"You can't do this to me! Annabeth?" Percy looked at his 'lover' for help but received none, nothing but a blank stare

"You can't do this to me! Annabeth?" Percy looked at his 'lover' for help but received none, nothing but a blank stare. "Please..." He whispered brokenly.

"PERSEUS JACKSON, YOU ARE CHARGED WITH BETRAYING OLYMPUS TO THE GIANTS! HOW DO YOU PLEAD?" Zeus boomed

"Not guilty! Please, I didn't do it! I swear!" He pleaded desperately, but to no avail.

The throne room filled with whispers, but this time they were accusing.

"Traitor!"

"I knew I shouldn't have trusted him!"

"So-called savior of Olympus."

"How could he!"

"They died because of him, all for nothing!"

"Murderer!"

"Thief!"

"He deserves to die!"

"Hypocrite!"

"Spy!"

"He should've died instead of Luke!"

A FEW HOURS AGO

AFTER NICO told Percy he wasn't his type, Annabeth had to pull Percy along to get him moving. All the questions that had filled Percy's mind after Nico's weird declaration dissipated when he looked at his Wise Girl smile adoringly at him.

She giggled at his dumbfounded expression, "C'mon Seaweed Brain! They're waiting for us." she said.

"Huh?" He asked stupidly.

"On Olympus! Don't tell me you forgot!" She chuckled, looking at me with a look that said 'Typical Seaweed Brain', "The gifting ceremony, we're late for it."

"Ohh," Realization drew on his face as he started walking faster to catch up with Annabeth. He rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly, "So, um, how exactly are we reaching there? And what exactly is that?"

Annabeth laughed and hit the back of his head playfully. "Percy! Didn't you listen to anything Lord Zeus said after the battle?"

"Heh." Percy looked down, remembering his daydream about blue cookies coming alive.

"Of course, you didn't," Annabeth muttered. "The gods are granting us a wish for saving the world, again and throwing a huge party to celebrate our win. It's just like after the Second Titan war, but all of us get a wish this time as well. Oh, yeah. And one of the gods will flash us to Olympus when we reach Thalia's Pine."

Percy nodded and noticed that while they were conversing they had reached Thalia's Tree. Despite all the wars it had seen, it stood tall and strong, not a mark on its bark (Ooh, that rhymed). The Golden fleece rested on its branches, glittering under the sun's harsh rays, looking like a river of gold. Coiled around the tree's trunk was Peleus, the dragon Chiron had looked after and fed until he was big enough to protect the Golden Fleece. He tensed and lifted his head when he sensed us coming, but relaxed when he realized that it was just us.

While he was taking note of his surroundings, a habit he had picked up in that place, the rest of the seven- sorry six, as well as Nico and Will had arrived. Percy bro-hugged Jason and Frank and nodded at Nico, Will, Piper, and Hazel. But Hazel wouldn't take that as a greeting and embraced him in a sisterly manner.

"Hey, after everything we've been through together Perce, I think we both needed that, yeah?" Hazed smiled warmly at him.

"Of course Haze." He said with his signature lopsided grin.

He turned his gaze to Annabeth, finding her deep in thought, "Wise Girl? Are you alright?"

Annabeth blinked in surprise, shaking herself out of her mini trance, "Yea... of course! Why wouldn't I be? Everyone ready?" She asked. Percy knew something was wrong, but waved it off, thinking it was after-battle jitters. That turned out to be the worst mistake he had ever made.
