𝐉𝐎𝐍𝐈 walked into the art museum and went to the break room to grab a cup of coffee. As she made her coffee, Lillian walked into the break room, and grabbed a coffee cup from the cupboard to make herself a cup of coffee as well.
"Hey hon, how's your morning?" Lillian smiled
Joni smiled softly as she stirred creamer into her coffee. "Well, after working on that report half the night, I'm exhausted, but on the bright side, it's Friday."
Lillian stirred creamer and a sugar packet into her coffee. "You have plans this weekend?"
"Not that I know of." Joni said as she sipped her coffee. "Why, you got something in mind?"
"No, I was going to head up to San Francisco go see my parents. I haven't had a chance to see them since I moved to the valley a few months ago." Lillian said
"So have you told your parents about Cobra Kai being back?" Lillian asked as she walked with Joni to her office
Joni opened the door to her office, and she sat down in her chair, while Lillian took a seat in the chair in front of her desk. "Are kidding me, and have them completely lose their shit? No way."
"They'll find out eventually honey." Lillian said as she sipped her coffee. "But how do you think they'll react?"
"Oh I'll tell you exactly what they'll do, they'll lose their shit." Joni said as she set her coffee cup down and turned on her computer
"Yeah, especially after what the sensei did to your father and your uncles all those years ago." Lillian said. "Anyway, I better get out front. I'll see you later."
"See you." Joni smiled, then began to organize her files.
As the blonde continued sorting though her files, her phone began to ring. She looked at the caller id, which read, Luke ❤️ "Hello?" Joni answered
"Hey, I hope this isn't a bad time to call." Luke said
"No, not at all. I'm just sitting at my desk preparing for the day. What's up?" Joni asked as she sipped her coffee
"I was wondering if you had plans this weekend?" Luke asked
Joni smiled brightly and felt her cheeks heat up. "No I'm free, what do you have in mind?"
"Well, I just realized we haven't had our first date yet, so one of the guys here in the office was telling me about this really great place called Golf N' Stuff. Would you like to go tomorrow night?" Luke asked as he nervously waited for Joni's answer
