"𝐇𝐎𝐖 was girl's night?" Luke asked as he poured himself a cup of coffee and joined Joni at the table. "You were passed out cold when I got home."
Joni smiled as she set her coffee cup down, then turned to her boyfriend. "It was great. We went to the roller rink, and to Sals." Before she had the chance to say anything else, her phone vibrated with a text message from Samantha. "No fucking way."
Luke furrowed his brows in confusion. "What?"
"So in addition to a girl's division, they're adding a skills competition to the All Valley." Joni said, showing Luke the screen shot of the article Samantha had sent her.
Luke gently took the phone and read over the rules, then replied, "A skills competition actually sounds badass, it's different." he said as he gave her phone back to her. "How is this whole thing with Cobra Kai going to work, now that there's a girls division?"
Joni reached over to grab her coffee cup and took a sip. "The dojo with the most points wins, my concern, if Cobra Kai cheated once, they're going to do it again, especially with asshole Terry Silver there. It's only a matter of time, and someone will get hurt, because now it's both Miyagi-Do and Eagle fang against Cobra Kai, so they're kinda screwed."
"They still have a shot at this." Luke said
"Eagle Fang has strong male fighters, not to mention the reigning All Valley Champ, and Miyagi Do has a strong female fighter, so it was literally the perfect combo." Joni said
"Okay, so where's Johnny going to find a female fighter?" Luke asked as Joni stood up and poured herself a another cup of coffee
Joni placed the coffee pot back on the burner, then joined her boyfriend back at the table. "Uncle Johnny and Miguel are going recruiting at West Valley. 50 bucks and a new pair of Christian Louboutins says they're kicking uncle Johnny out." she said
Luke chuckled as he sipped his coffee. "50 bucks? Easy. He won't get kicked out, he'll find a fighter there."
Joni leaned back in her chair. "Oh no, he might not get kicked out of the school, but he's definitely going to get kicked off the soccer field, which Miguel mentioned they were going to."
"Alright, 50 bucks and a new pair of shoes, you're on." Luke said, as he extended his hand. "You're so on babe."
Joni laughed as she shook her boyfriend's hand. "I think we better go with Johnny and Miguel this afternoon because I have a feeling that whatever uncle Johnny's gonna do, will be something completely stupid."

That afternoon, Miguel took Joni, Luke and Johnny to the high school, where the girl's sports teams were practicing. "Okay, this is where most of the girls practice." Miguel stated as they walked onto the field. "You sure you'll be able to convince them?"
