They found themselves in a tavern near the harbour, where music played and people laughed, and somewhere in this tavern the past version of Hook was playing with dice. Emma, Hook, Peter, and Baz were watching past Hook at a table a bit away from him. It hurt Peter's brain to look between the two versions of Hook, though if anything, Peter found himself more worried about Baz than anything else. He'd been silent throughout most of their journey here as a whole and he wanted to talk to Baz at some point about what was going on in his head.
"There I am," Hook said, slightly pointing at himself. "Rather dashing, don't you think?"
"I think I'm gonna throw myself into the ocean," Peter grumbled under his breath. There was a part of him which just wanted to go over to this past version of Hook, and just cause some mischief, knowing that this past version Hook still hated him more than anything. Not only that, but that was just this urge within Peter which just wanted to ask Hook if he could take Jade back to Neverland somehow and although Hook might have just come back from the island, he still wanted to make sure that Jade had a way to get back.
"Is this even a good idea?" Emma asked as if she was trying to be the voice of reason.
"I could just walk over to Hook and just punch him in the face," Peter offered.
Hook gave him an offended look. "You've been waiting to hit me, haven't you?"
Peter shrugged. "Your face annoys me continually. Plus, it might give past you a wake-up call to have gotten Jade back to Neverland if you knew that she was here."
"Is this what it's about?" Hook asked.
Again, Peter shrugged. "Obviously."
"If I knew that she was here and looking for passage, then yes, I would have found a way to get her back to Neverland," Hook stated. "But I didn't, so can we move on?"
Peter pouted. "I thought it was the most obvious thing which could have occurred."
Hook just sighed a little and shook his head. "Like I said, if I knew that she was back in the Enchanted Forest, then there's a chance that I would have found a way to get her back."
Emma groaned slightly. "Can we get back on track, please?"
Peter gave her a look. "No." He looked back towards past Hook. "I could talk to this version of you, Hook. I'm sure that it would be a surprise for you to see me here."
Hook looked like he was about to consider that as an option, though Emma cut in rather quick. "What about preserving the future? I'm sure that there's a chance that this past Hook is going to remember if you punched him, Peter."
