02: Viridian Forest

Ash had woken up. Gotten dressed and was about to walk out the door. He opened it to find Officer Jenny looking like she was about to knock on the door.

Ash: "Can I help you?"

Jenny: "Yes. You said you'd answer some questions in the morning."

Ash then suddenly remembered what happened last night.

Ash: "Oh. That wasn't a dream?! That Meowth was actually talking?!"

Jenny: "What?"

Ash was sitting on the bed, looking at Officer Jenny who was standing in front of him.

Jenny: "You woke up after hearing a loud boom?"

Ash: "Yep."

Jenny: "Saw two people come in. Along with a talking Meowth?"

Ash: "Yep."

Jenny: "And your Pichu sent them flying after they called you a girl?"

Ash: "I'm not sorry."

Jenny: "Well. The two people you were talking about actually matched the description of the burglary suspects. And Nurse Joy told me everything. Even the talking Meowth."

Ash: *Sigh*

Jenny: "That's all. You can go now."

Ash: "Arigato."

Ash was about to walk out the Center.

Joy: "Wait!"

Ash: ?

Joy: "I should thank you for last night. Especially since you were the only one here."

Ash: "Oh....Uh sure."

She hands him slips of paper.

Ash: "Coupons?"

Joy: "I'm sorry. It's not the best. I couldn't think of anything else. They're good for shopping."

Ash: *Chuckle* "It's alright. I don't have that much money anyways. Thanks."

Ash had used the coupons to stock on supplies.

Then he starts walking towards the city exit....until...

Ash: "Huh?"

He sees an old man on the ground.

Old man: "What? Who's there?! Want me to teach you about catching PokéMAN?!"

Ash: "Uh no thanks. I already caught two."

Woman: "Sorry about my father. He gets drunk often."

Ash: "Wait, he's drunk?! I just assumed he didn't have his morning coffee for something!"

As Ash was looking at whatever this was, we see a mysterious girl with long brown hair looking behind from a building.

>Viridian Forest<

Ash: "Finally. Geez."

He starts thinking about what happened last night.

Ash: "What was that?" He brought out his Pokédex.

Pokédex: [Pichu's moves are Thunder Shock, Quick Attack, and Volt Tackle]
