Hospital

The police walked up to me

I helped Robin get up as they approached us

"We got a call of a fight" the police officer states

"Yeah.. inside" I say

They leave to go inside

"What.. what?" Robin asks looking at me

"I'll tell you later" I say going up to the front of my house to hopefully see them take my dad away in cuffs

Robin follows me to the front to see what was going on

Nothing happens for a minute until we hear more sirens blaring

And me and Robin watch as 2 paramedics run out of the van and run into my house

I could feel a rush of fear going through my body

Just then a third paramedic came out of the van

This time, walking straight up to Robin

"Are you okay kid? Are you hurt?" They ask

"Im ok, I just need to wash up" Robin replies

The paramedic nods before we all see people surrounding my house

I then hear my name being called in the distance

Not knowing who it was, i turn around

I dont see anyone for a moment before hearing my name again

"DALILAH?" I hear being yelled, now much closer

I turn in the direction of my name and see someone running up to my house

It didn't take long for me to identify him, as he was a small boy, with curly golden hair

It was Griffen.

He was running up to my house

So one of my neighbors is actually a close friend of Griffen's, so I guess she called and told him what was going on

"GRIFFEN!" I yell

He looks right at me

He runs up to me and captures me in a warm embrace

I hug him back and can feel his heavy breathing on my shoulder

"I thought something happened to you!" He says

"No, not me. Just everyone else" I say with a sad look on my face

"Who? Finn and Gwen?" He asks

"Yeah" I say as I hear two paramedics coming out of my house

They had Finn and Gwen on stretchers and my dad in cuffs

I could feel my eyes water seeing my brother and sister like this

I walk up to the ambulance

"Hey! Can I ride in the back? I'm they're sister" I say

"Sure kid, hope in" the paramedic says

"I'll tell you everything tomorrow Robin, I promise" I say and the paramedic closes the door to the van

I sit down in the van and hold Finns' hand because Gwen was beside him and I couldn't reach her

I kneel into my knees with Finn's hand in mine

I just sit there crying as the paramedics tend to my siblings

After a while, we finally arrived at the hospital

They open the doors to the van and let me out as they take my siblings inside.

I can see a fair bit of doctors helping them take my siblings inside as they say some shit about what's going on with them

I follow the nurse inside and follow where they were taking Finn and Gwen

"Oh I'm sorry, only doctors and patients are allowed in here" the nurse says

"Those are my siblings though" I say with tears in my eyes

"Sorry kid, rules are rules" the nurse says before closing the door to the room

I could feel a single tear escape from my eye

I sit down and place my hand on my face before I slide it up to my hair, holding my head

I just sit there with my head down and tears falling from my eyes

I didn't know what would happen to me, Finn and Gwen next

I mean we don't have proper parents anymore

Because my dad is a psychopathic dick

And my mom is... well.. you know

There were only 2 people I could call and ask to stay with, but that would be fair to them

What would I even say

"Hey! My dad was arrested, and now I'm an orphan! Adopt me"

I couldn't do that to anyone I actually cared about

My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of shoes squeaking in the distance

But still close enough

Just then I see someone turn the corner that I really didn't want to see right now.
