I look over to see Vance

"Y/n..." he says looking into my eyes filled with tears

"What do you want Vance" I say sniffling

"I am so sorry Y/n.. I don't know what the hell I was thinking" he says

"No shit" I say, wiping a tear that fell from my eye

"I heard about what happened... nothing really gets by in our town" he says shrugging with his hands in his pockets

I nod as more tears start forming in my eyes

I cover my mouth with my sweater sleeve as I sob

Then I felt a warm pair of arms wrap around me

Then I felt a head place on mine

I remove my hand from my mouth and wrap my arms around Vance

I sob into his chest since he was too tall for me to reach his shoulder

"I just don't understand why you did what you did" I say slightly lifting my head to look up at him

"Its not as simple as that Y/n..." he says, unwrapping his arms from me

"How is it "not that simple". You beat the living shit out of Robin.. for no reason Vance. Why?" I say looking at him avoiding eye contact with me

"Look, maybe one day I can tell you... but I can't right now" he says placing his hand on the back of his neck and looking at his shoes.

"What's there to tell?" I say in a slightly angry tone

"I don't wanna talk about it okay?" He says looking up and rolling his eyes

I stay silent

"Fine" I finally spit out

I turn back around and sit down on the chair crossing my arms

"Miss Blake?" A doctor calls out

I stand up

"Yeah?" I ask

"You can come on in" she says gesturing for me to enter the hospital room

I grab my stuff and walk into the room

As I walk in and look at Finn and Gwen I could feel pools of tears forming In my eyes

They were on beds with an Iv in their arms, and Gwen had a breathing tube attached going down her throat

I felt sick to my stomach

I hold my mouth as I sob

"I'll give you some time alone" the nurse says walking out of the room and closing the door behind her

I sit down on a chair next to Gwen's bed and hold her hand

I glance over at Finn who was shifting around

He was waking up

I quickly get up and walk over to him

The heart monitor on his side started beeping faster and faster as the nurse rushed back inside

A doctor followed

She was quick to place a breathing mask on him to help him

They replace his Iv bag and then remove the breathing mask

They then leave the room again to give me some time alone with them

He finally opens his eyes and sits up slightly

"Finn!?" I say

"Y/n?" he says in a tired, raspy voice

He puts his hand on the back of his head in pain

"Are you okay?" I ask

"I guess" he says

"What happened after I left?" I ask wiping a tear from my cheek

"Dad was... doing some pretty messed up stuff, so I tried to stop him.. but then he slashed me with his beer bottle and I fell to the ground. Then I heard Gwen scream before I passed out..." he said as tears formed in his eyes

I looked at him with sorrow

I lean in and hug him

He hugs back and sobs into my arms and ok my shoulder

Just then we hear knocking at the door

I let go of Finn and walk up to the door, opening it

I then see half the damn town standing outside of the door

Word spreads pretty quick in our town so I guess It's understandable

I saw Susie, Amy, Bruce, Vance, Robin, Billy, Griffen, Donna, some of Finns baseball friends, and Miguel all standing outside of the hospital room

I smile seeing all of them here

Just then the stupid nurse ruins the moment

"Uhm! Excuse me! Only relatives of the victims are allowed back here! Everyone who isn't family please leave!" The stupid nurse says

I roll my eyes and walk back inside
