"This is gonna be some race. Huh girl?" Josh asks as Alexis is walking with him over to the crowd of people.
"Yeah." Alexis says as she sees Kodi with Balto and the team and goes over to him as he sees her and smiles.
"Alexis. You came out to see me off." Kodi says happily.
"Of course. I wouldn't miss it. Good luck out there and be careful." Alexis says as she smiles.
"We will. No worries." Kodi says happily as Jenna comes over.
"Good luck you two." Jenna says happily as she nuzzles Kodi causing Alexis to smile before Kodi looks at her and nuzzles her causing her to blush.
"What was that for?" Alexis asks surprisedly.
"I thought you'd miss me while I was gone. Sorry I won't do it again if it makes you uncomfortable." Kodi says.
"Not uncomfortable just a little surprised. You've never nuzzled me before." Alexis says.
"Meh. Just thought I'd try something a little different. You're my best friend. I miss you when I'm gone." Kodi says as Alexis smiles.
"I miss you as well. I'm guessing that is Stella you told me about Balto?" Alexis asks as she sees a female goose chasing Boris around.
"Yep. Boris really stuck his foot in his beak this time." Balto says as Stella continues to chase Boris before the dogs begin barking as Alexis goes over to the side and sits with Jenna.
"Are you excited Alexis?" Jenna asks as she looks at Alexis.
"As excited as I'm gonna be. Just hoping things go okay." Alexis says as she looks at Jenna.
"Me too." Jenna says.
"Attention everybody. The US mail is now aboard both the dog sled and bush plane. The winner will be the competitor who is first to deliver the mail safely to the town of White Mountain then returns to Nome with the new bag of mail. Alright everybody! On your mark! Get set! Go!" The man says as he fires a gun before the dogs sled team gets moving and the plane gets going.
"Alexis where are you going?" Jenna asks as Alexis begins to run after the dog sled team but stops and looks at her.
"To send them off." Alexis says as she takes off running after the team and beats them to a small snow bank in the distance before howling as they pass by her causing the team to howl back.
