We finished filming the scene for the food court, which was really not that bad i thought. We mainly just sat at a little table in the food court and ate, talked, and laughed. We had already basically done that many times off camera since I came to Korea, so it felt normal.

Time had come for the final scene of the video, and we were supposed to be in the aquarium tunnel surrounded by these different kinds of beautiful fish. Sounded easy enough!

Jae and I were walking into the aquarium tunnel with the film crew in front of us, when Jae stopped and turned to me, and he said, "I'm so glad you agreed to do this. It really means a lot to me."

"I am happy I was able to help! This really was a fun experience, even though I will say it has been a bit of a shock to be asked to be in your video," I responded.

At that, Jae reached down and gently grabbed my hand with his, leaned in with a smile, and whispered, "If I have anything to do with it, there will be many more experiences to come. I've started to fall for you. I think it all began in April when we were emailing one another, but it has really hit me hard the day you landed on the plane and I saw how beautiful you are."

I immediately began to turn bright red and so I quickly looked away shyly. Jae then gently brushed my cheek with his left hand, leaned down, and kissed my forehead, ever so softly. I quite honestly think I could have fainted then and there!

I glanced over, and could see Jun and another member of the group nudging each other and they had an enormous grin on their faces. They must have known all along how Jae felt. I also saw that the cameras were aimed at us, and all of this must have been filmed!

In a flash, I was overcome with extreme embarrassment, and my fight or flight instinct kicked in. I chose the latter and took off hastily running toward the exit of the tunnel.

Before I knew, I had tripped on something lying on the floor and I went airborne. Great...just great. I thought. I can't do anything without hurting myself. I'm such a klutz. I laid on the cold, hard floor in sheer agony and pain. All I could do was cry.

I hadn't noticed that Jae had ran after me until I saw that he was now bending over me, reaching down to me. "Are you okay? Are you able to stand?" he asked. "I didn't mean to shock you like that. I had no idea we were being filmed at that moment. I really do mean what I said earlier, though. I really like you, Hanna."

I looked up at him, still with tears streaming down my face, and just nodded. I was still too embarrassed to say a word.

Jae wiped the tears from my eyes and looked at my knee, which had a large gash on it and was now bleeding from how I landed on it. He quickly grabbed his overshirt and ripped it off, exposing his muscular chest through the sheer black shirt underneath, to make a bandage and then he wrapped it around my bloody knee.

He tried to help me stand to my feet, and I stumbled in pain. Jae then swooped me up into his arms, and carried me over to a bench in the aquarium tunnel near where we were standing before I had taken off running like a complete idiot.

One of the crew members came over to us, asking Jae something in Korean. He nodded to them and said a few words back, which I couldn't understand. The person then got on their cell phone and frantically called someone. Oh joy, I thought, another ER trip.

About 15 minutes had passed, and an emergency medic came through the tunnel with a wheelchair. Jae and a medic helped me to get into the chair, and I was wheeled off to an ambulance, with Jae right by my side.

"I'm not going to leave you," whispered Jae, "Don't worry, it will all be alright. We are going to just get an X-ray to make sure nothing is broken."

I nodded, and Jae squeezed my hand as I was loaded into the ambulance and he climbed in afterward, with a worried expression on his face.

At the hospital, the doctors examined my ankle and knee. Due to how I fell and cut my knee, I needed to have 8 stitches. I also had a hairline fracture on my right ankle and I would need to wear a splint for at least a month. Well, that's it. Vacation over.

"I think I need to cut my vacation short and go back to the US," I told Jae. "There's no way I'll be able to get around and do what I had on my list of everything I wanted to do now. Especiallynot within the time frame I am able to be here.."

Jae held my hand, frowning. I know he must have been thinking I was going to leave and never speak to him again after this.

Just then, Jae said, "No. I will do everything I can to make your time here worth it and to extend your stay for however long you need. I will take care of you until you are healed and we will do whatever you want to do. Just please stay...at least until your ankle is better."

"How can I stay, though? I don't think I can. I've only been approved to be here until June 20th at the latest. I can't afford to be in some sort of legal trouble," I replied.

Jae quickly responded, "Like I said, I will take care of everything. Don't worry. I'll make all of the arrangements. You don't need to worry about a thing. I will take care of you."

I smiled faintly and said in a kind of tipsy sounding voice while slapping Jae's rock hard chest, "Okay. You are so cute right now, all worried about little old me! I guess I'll stay if you really really want me to. But, you need to get me out of here." I then waved my arms around to show I meant the hospital and giggled a bit. The pain medicine that the doctor gave me must have been kicking in, and I was feeling pretty good then.

Crap! What did I just do? What did I say?! Did I just tell Jae he was...cute?!

Jae smiled a devilish little smile with his head turned slightly to the side and he nodded to let me know he agreed. Then, he bent down and kissed me softly on the cheek. and said, "I will be right back. I'm going to get the doctor and get you out of here."

One of Jae's body guards stayed in the room with me while another followed Jae, and after a few minutes Jae came back with the doctor.

The doctor told us that I was good to go, but I had orders to take it easy until the splint came off. He handed Jae a pair of crutches and said I was to use them to help get around after we leave the hospital. With that, Jae helped me into the wheelchair, grabbed my things, and we headed downstairs.

Once we were on the first floor, we went toward the exit to find the company car so we could leave and go back to the apartment. I was out of it and needed to rest.

It was then that I saw him. I thought it was a hallucination from the pain medicine, but it wasn't.

It was Chad.

Of all people, what was my ex-boyfriend doing in Seoul?

A chill rushed down my spine then. It was the type of chill you get when you think you see a ghost. Something scary that you hope doesn't happen again.
