Forgiving...?

It doesn't make you immoral or heartless for not forgiving those who've hurt you. You're wounded and it's valid. Sometimes, forgiving is selfless, and if you're unhealed from what they inflicted you, then protect yourself. You heal, you live; they live, they repent. Their guilt is not for you to relieve, and it will never be. They regret? As they should. You got this.

It's like saying "Forgive those who have killed you for they cut you to being who you are today." No. I shape my bones to what they are today; I rebuild my structures; I retold my tales; I rewrote the innocence you stole from my chapters. Everything is upon my hand.
