Shinji whispered to himself while looking at the location that the Gods has given him for his base. Observing the flatland that was surrounded by sharp mountains on both sides and the only open path to the area is from the front and back. Making it almost hard to penetrate by foot due to the complicated terrain of the area, causing Shinji to form a light smile on his face since the Gods didn't let him down and given a nice starting area to build his base.

"It's been years since I've been to the countryside... I missed this fresh air"
He muttered to himself as he took on a deep breath. Breathing in the soothing and cool air in his surroundings that didn't have a single trace of pollution. Due to this place being newly created by the Gods, so very little to no humans populated the world. Everything in his vision was nature without any man-made infrastructures or machines, causing him to stretch his body and take a step on the grass of the land. Enjoying the feeling of the soft grass beneath his feet.
"It's such a shame that this place would be turned to ruins once I build the [Hatchery] in here..."
He said to himself. Feeling a bit regretful that he had to destroy this beautiful place since the creep would slowly spread and devour this place. It is a living organism that would spread and consume the nutrients and biological matter in the land. It is an essential organism for the Zerg race since it would be the one to provide nutrients to all Zerg structures in the game and make sure that they would stay alive.
All Zerg structures are basically like organs while the creep is the organisms themselves who hold all of those organs. If those organs don't receive any of the nutrients it requires, then they would slowly die and collapse on themselves. Aside from the Hatchery and Extractors, all Zerg structures are required to be built on a creep.
"Well... it would take weeks until the creep spread throughout this entire area, so I guess I'll be able to enjoy it for a while"
He said before someone suddenly tapped him on the shoulder. Making him turn his head around before being poked in the cheek by a finger, causing the figure behind him to let out a soft giggle in response.
"Oh my, Shinji-san. Have you completely forgotten about me?"
A beautiful young girl with long silky black hair that was tied in twin tails said with an amused smile on her face. Wearing a gothic lolita dress that was mainly made up of the colors red and black. That which complemented and emphasized her fair and smooth skin, causing Shinji to unconsciously gulp in response as he got a clearer view of her features. Making Kurumi's smile deepened as she stared at him with her heterochromia eyes. One of which was blood red while the other resembled a golden clock.
