Kylie

I went out of the car and entered our house. I was walking upstairs when someone called my name.

"Kylie anak" Lumingon ako to see my mom smiling at me. I went down to hug her.

"Mom, i missed you" I said then hugged her tight.

"I missed you too. So much Kylie." Sabi niya sa akin. God, I missed her. Minsan lang kasi siya umuwi dahil palagi siyang nasa hospital. My mom is a doctor.

"Why are you here?" I asked.

"Why? Ayaw mo ba na andito ako? Minsan na nga lang tayo magkita." Bakas sa boses ni Mom ang tampo. Natawa ako.

"No, of course I want to see you here at home! I'm just asking." I assured and smiled sweetly at her.

"I took a 3 day leave. I want to catch up with my daughter." What she said made me jump in so much happiness.

"Yay! That means we can shop together?" I said with full of energy.

"Yes, darling. But you have class right?" She asked.

I pouted. "Ugh, yeah. Maybe we can shop after my classes? I'll check my schedule for tomorrow."

I taught Mom and I are gonna enjoy her 3 day leave. But boo, school sucks. Big time.

"Okay, change your clothes na Kylie. I cooked something for you."

"Omg! My fave?" I asked in excitement.

"Your fave." Mom smiled. She's so pretty, no wonder I became pretty too. Haha.

"Okay, mom! Wait for me okay?" I run upstairs to change my clothes.

I changed my uniform into a white shirt and shorts. I also tied my hair into a messy bun. Typical me when I am inside the house.

"Kylie, come on. Let's eat na." Mom said when she saw me walking towards our dining room.

"Woah, sarap nito!" Pagpuri ko sa luto ni Mom na fave kong lasagna.

"Of course, I cooked it eh." We both laughed. I love moments like this.

"Mom, can you teach me how to cook this?" I asked smiling widely.

"Yes sure. Kailan mo ba gusto?"

"Kapag free time natin pareho." Sabi ko.

"Sure sweetie." Pagpayag naman ni Mom.

I sighed. "I think we will enjoy much if Dad is here."

"Kylie..."

"I miss him already, Mom." Ngumiti ako ng tipid. Mom walked towards me and hugged me while I am still seated. Hinaplos ko ang kamay niyang nakayakap sa akin.

"I miss your Dad too." I hear her sobbing.

"Mom, don't cry na okay? Bakit ko pa kasi binring up yung topic eh."

"No its alright. Nadala lang ng emosyon." She faked a laugh. I hate seeing her cry. Parang kinukurot yung puso ko...

"Okay, let's just continue eating." Mom went back to her chair and continued eating. So did I. She already stopped crying. My mom is so strong woman indeed. Hindi na lang ulit ako nagsalita dahil ayokong umiyak pa ulit si Mom.

I finished a plate of lasagna but it seems like hindi pa ko busog kaya kumuha pa ako. Masarap eh. Haha!

"Nasarapan ka talaga ah?" Tanong ni Mom habang nakangiti.
