"No, I will not accept your relationship with him," Kan shouted. "Why?" Macau shouts back. "Because you are still young and he is a dangerous man, you don't know what he can do," Kan replied. 

"I am over 18 and I can handle him myself," Macau retorted. "Why are you so stubborn? " Kan sighed. "I don't know. Maybe I got it from you!" Macau yelled and left the room in anger. 

"Dear, what happens?" Cherry(Kan's wife) was Infront of the office. "Macau that kid, so stubborn" Kan sighed. 

"Doesn't that remind you of someone?" Cherry said, with an smile. "Yeah, just like his mother" Kan replied with an small smile. 

"Maybe you should tell him the real reason why you don't want him to date Zeruk" She suggested. 

"Maybe, I don't know" Kan lean back in his chair thinking of what to do with his son relationship.

At Macau's 

"Hey, baby" Zeruk got up from his seat and kiss Macau in the forehead. "Hey" Macau replied weakly. 

"What's wrong?" Zeruk ask his lover who was clearly look sad and frustrated. "I don't get it, why won't they accept us" Macau buried his face in Zeruk's chest, feeling sad that his family doesn't want him and his lover to be together.

The next day, Kan have called Macau which Macau refuse but come cause of his mother. 

"Kan, didn't you have something to tell Macau?" Cherry nudge Kan. "Yea..um Macau followed me." and Macau did. 

Kan led Macau to the room that he have never allow anyone to enter, the room that Macau have saw once he was younger. 

"Dad this is?" 

"Come, I will tell you" Kan open the door to the room, show the piano and a woman picture on the wall. 

"This piano, belong to your mother" He said with a low voice. "I didn't know Ma own a piano" Macau said observing the it. 

"No, Macau. This piano belong to your birthmother. " Macau froze as he said it. Macau was confused, wasn't Cherry his birthmother? What is his father talking about? 

"What are you saying dad?" he said slowly after a long silent. 

"Cherry is not your birthmother or Vegas's." Kan said. "Then who is?" Macau asked in a shaky voice. 

"Her" He pointed to the picture on the wall, the woman look just like Macau. "But why?" 

"Why didn't you tell me?" Macau was conflicted, the woman who he though was his mother was not, and his father have been lying to him. 

"Did Phi know about this?" Kan was silent. "So he did. I was the only one who didn't know?" 

"Yes" Kan confirmed. 

"You were so young when she pass, I didn't want to tell you the truth. I was afraid that it would scar you." Kan replied. 

"Your mother, she love playing the piano. She would play it to your brother and to me sometime. She wanted to be an artist just like you did but she have to give up on it when she married me. Our marriage wasn't perfect but she was the sweetest and most understanding ever." Macau listen to the story in silent. 

"We had an agreement when we got married , that we are allow to have partner outside. We weren't in love and have no plan , what I didn't know was she loved me. She never tell me anything about it." Kan stopped talking and look at his son to see a surprise reaction. 

"So what happen?" 

"After a year we got Vegas, Vegas was the most energetic child. She had an difficult time taking care of Vegas cause he was so playful. Our relationship was great until that day when she saw me with my partner when she was out with Vegas. Starting for that day, I could feel her being distant toward me." Kan sighed, tear forming in his eye. 

"She would avoided the question whenever I ask if something was wrong. When Vegas was 6, she got pregnant with you. She was not like when she was pregnant with Vegas. She was quite and barely talk. "

"I tried to talk to her but she j ust shut me out. One day Cherry came to me. We have broken off thing at that time. She said your mother came to her. She didn't tell me everything that your mother and her talked about but she told me that your mother said to take care of both of you and your brother. And be a good mother to you guys. "

" It turned out the doctor have told her that she won't be able to survive the birth. She was depress, she have always dream of having a successful job with a loving husband and children by her side." 

"I felt guilty, I crush her dream of being a artist but I though I would be the great husband to her on the time that we have left and so I did. Everything was getting better, we went out often and went on date. My anxiety grew as time pass. Was she going to make it? I would ask myself many times.

Luckily she survive but her body was weak, she won't be able to live a long time and she pass when you were 2. I was a mess afterward. Cherry help me , she took care of you boys and took care of me. My father, your grandfather though Cherry would be suitable to be your mother and my wife. He arrange everything and we got married. 

I couldn't bare to see this room after her death, it remind me too much of her." 

"I am sorry that I didn't allow to be an artist, it remind me of her and it pain me. Last nigh Zeruk called me, he is an decent man. I want you to be happy." Macau hugged his father, tear were flowing down his face. 

"Macau he is an dangerous man, his father and mother are one of most dangerous mafia, they have lots of enemy. And it scared me that what if he wasn't able to protect you from the enemy? I don't want you to be the mafia world." Macau was touched by his father word. 

"I know dad, but you need to know I know how to protect myself. I will be careful. You don't have to worry" Macau said smiling. 

"Okay" he stroke his son hair.
