Chapter 13.5

Vegas pov:

Every since that day, Pete have been distracted. I don't know what my father said to him, he wouldn't tell me either.  

"Pete" I called out but he didn't come. "Pete" I called again. This time Nop came. "Khun Vegas. Khun Kan have called Pete" He said. 

"What! When?" 

"A while ago." he answered. 

I rush to my father office but I was stopped by the bodyguard infront of my father office. "Move!" I said.

"I am sorry Khun Vegas but Khun kan have ordered us not to allow anyone to enter." the bodyguard replied. 

" I said MOVE!" I  shouted. 

"Let him in" my father said from inside. The body guard moved and I entered. 

"Sit" My father said as I entered. Pete as also siting there so I went beside him to protect incase if my father do something. 

"Pete say who would you protect if Kinn and Vegas are in trouble?" My father asked Pete. 

"Pa th-" 

"Quite Vegas, I am asking Pete."

"I would save the person who is more inquired, but if they are both injured, I would get rid of the enemy first." pete answered. 

My father seem pleased by the answered. "Have you thought about my offered?"

"That...um I am going to have to declined that offered. I am sorry." Pete replied looking down. 

" ha" My father sighted. "Korn was right, you really are a loyal dog." 

"Umm thank you" Pete said. 

"Ha ha, you really are interesting." then my father continue. " I don't like my son dating some bodyguard but since you are different from the other I will make an exception. However in the future , if you planned to become one with my son, you will have to start a business. We can talk about it when we get there. Right now, just enjoyed."

I was so happy with my father approval that I hugged him. "Thank you Pa."

"Oh you are hugging me now, when was the last time you hug me? you little brat." My father said. 

"Pete you too, come" my father called him for a hug and said "Welcome to the family." 

"Thank you Khun Kan." Pete smiled. 

"Now get out both of you, I have work to do and Pete monitored veags if he is slacking off tell me."

"Yes Khun Kan"

"Pa"  I said and laughed. 

Then we both left the office.

Author pov:

Kan take a photo out of his drawer and look at it." Dear, Vegas have grown up now, he even got a lover. I wish you were here to see it." he looked at the pic and said.
