Marinette's POV:
Dear Diary, Hi, I'm Marinette Dupain-Cheng, I'm 16 years old. I live in Paris, France. My favorite color is pink and I am madly clumsy. Today Me and my parents are moving to Sherwood, Ohio so I can see my cousin Veronica and go to Westerburg high school because my previous school got shut down because the school bored found out that Principle Damocles was taking bribes from rich families and that our former teacher "Miss Bustier" was using toxic teaching methods. Surprisingly, one of my best friends, Adrian was the one who exposed them, I told my friends about how I felt pressured to be the class president aka doing the teacher's job for her and Adrian decided to confront Miss bustier about it. And before I knew it, Miss Bustier was exposed and so was Principal Damocles. Right now I'm saying goodbye to my friends and promised to get in touch with them, although I was worried about the bakery but my friends told me that they would be able to keep the bakery running. Right now, I was saying goodbye to my friends.
"I'm gonna miss you Mari" my Best friend Alya cried. "I'll miss you too Alya" I said with a few tears dropping down my face, "Don't worry about the bakery Mari, We'll keep it running!" One of my friends Nino said. I smiled and waved goodbye to them.
After they got to Sherwood, Ohio.
We were now at Veronica's house and right now I was in front of Veronica's door that was painted a pretty light blue color. I knocked on the door.
"Hello?"
"It's me Marinette, can I come in?"
"...Marinette?"
Veronica opened the door and gasped.
"Marinette!" Veronica gave her cousin a big hug.
Marinette giggled and hugged back.
"Hi Ronnie, I miss you" Marinette smiled.
"I miss you too Mari" Veronica replied.
"So how are you?" Marinette asked.
"I'm ok, just a little nervous about the first day of senior year" Veronica replied.
"Don't worry you'll do great at school as a senior" Marinette said with a smile.
It's Been 9 years since I moved to Paris, France and now I was back in my birthplace, Sherwood, Ohio. I hope I have a good first day of school with Veronica, I hope I see Betty and Marta again. I wonder what I should wear for school?
