Chapter 3

Riley pov
I look at the clock on the wall it's 9:00 pm and it's time for me to get off work finally. I grab my things say bye to Julie and Cameron and I start walking home. Yes I walk home at night because it's not far from my house and no i'm not afraid I hear something or maybe someone behind me but when I turn I don't see anyone. After about 5 minutes I arrive home and I walk in take off my shoes and coat and I take a shower.

After my shower I put on my pjs and my robe and I lay down pulling out my computer. I look up the name Dylan and the girl I saw today instantly pops up. "Let's see your story Ms Dylan" I click on something that says something about parents being murdered and I start reading as I'm reading I gasp looking at the date November 21st it's the day I lost my dad.

Flashback:
Authors pov
"Dad will you be back" I look at him and sees he's crying

"Don't I always come back sweetheart" he chuckles

Sometimes I believe it when he says that but this gut feeling tells me I won't see him again

"Remember you know how to use the gun you know where they are the security is up front always remember I love you so much okay" he kisses my forehead and he walks out

I start crying and whispers "I love you too dad"

Flashback ends

After that night I never seen him again until I got the call that he died. So if her father died that same that it means...I gasp and I call Margaret if you're wondering who Margaret is she's the hacker of my dads company. "Hello Riley whatcha need sweetheart " "Hi Ms Margaret I need a favor I met this girl today name dylan she's a mafia leader I came home and looked up her name her parents died the same night my dad didn't come back from his mission there were two other bodies found with my dads I think it was her parents I think my dads mission was to kill her parents but he ended up dying also I have a picture of the girl can you make it to where you can see her now" I hear typing and she says "Send me the pic" I sent her the pic and hears her typing and mumbling then she gasps.

"What is it" Margaret sighs and says "It's her riley it's dylan and she's been wanting your father dead ever since the incident it says here that she doesn't know he's dead but will do anything to make sure someone gets justice for her dads death" I sigh "thanks" I hang up the phone and starts thinking. Why haven't she came for me yet ? How doesn't she know my fathers dead ? Why was my dad trying to kill her parents ?

Dylan's pov
I get home and I start thinking about the girl I saw today at the cafe and I call my friend who's a hacker. "Hey Noah I need you to look up someone's name for me" I hear him typing "Sure dude what's the name" "Her name is Riley" I hear him typing and he gets quiet. "Noah what's wrong what'd you find" he takes a while before he answers me "Her father is the dude that's responsible for your parents death but it says here that he died the same day your parents did they found 3 bodies in the house your parents and some guy name Charlie Anderson" I punch the wall and smirks "He might be dead but his daughter isn't" I tell Noah to send me all the information on Riley and I hang up.

I start reading up on Riley and I start thinking about how my parents were dead that night

Flashback:
I am currently in my room relaxing until I hear my mom screaming. I run out and I see my dad and some guy pointing a gun at one another.

I hear my mom yelling to me to go to my room so I go to my room and puts on my headphones and hugs my knees. After about 15 minutes I take off my headphones and I don't hear anything I walk outside my room and sees my parents on the ground but I don't see the other guy I see police's everywhere and red lights.

I run to my mom but a police officer grabs me and hold me while I breakdown at the sight.

Flashback ends

Ever since that night I took over my dads place and trained and trained until I became the best in my building.  I call a security guard up to my office and he walks in"Yes boss" I look at him with a dark gaze and says "This riley girl bring her to me" he nods and walks out. I start smirking.  You're gonna pay for what your father did to my parents
