Chapter 10

Riley Pov
I woke up earlier than everyone else I couldn't sleep I kept thinking about yesterday and then I had a dream but it didn't feel like a dream I'm in the kitchen right now while everyone is sleeping as I'm zoned out someone wraps there arms around me

"Hey baby I didn't like waking up to a empty bed what's been on your mind" dylan says in her morning voice

"GoodMorning my love ever since we seen that man things been weird I think I seen him somewhere but I can't think of where but when my dad was here he knew people and I think I seen him with my dad" I feel dylan body get tense and I turn around

"You're thinking something else too what is it" I see her looking at me seriously

"I think my dads alive I had a dream last night but it didn't feel like a dream" I say softly

"If he was alive how would you feel about it" I shrug my shoulders

"I don't know I think I would probably be mad that he kept it away from me this long he misses 8 years of my life I had nobody but him my mom left me as a child he was all I had if he faked his death I'm gonna be so angry and sad" I see her looking at me worriedly

She kisses me and hugs me "everything's gonna be okay" I hug her back

"I should probably get back to work Julie and Cam are suffering without me" I kiss her and puts on my clothes to go to work

As I walk into my job I feel as if I'm being followed or watched but I turned around and seen nothing I walked into work seeing Cam and Julie there sitting cause we're not busy today there's like 2-4 people in the place

"Hey guys" they see me and run to me to hug me I giggle

"Hi we missed you so much" Julie says

"Yes girl it's been crazy" Cam says

We sit down behind the counter and they catch me up on everything that's happening until we heard the bell and a man walks in with all black but you can't see his face because he's covering it with a mask I walk to the counter to take his order

"Hi how may I help you" he looks at me and stares

"Um I'll have a coffee 2 sugars" he says in a deep quiet voice not that quiet I could hear him

"Okay would you like any creamers" he nods and goes to sit down I make his coffee but starts thinking of how his eyes kinda looks like my dads when he left the house that night

I finish his coffee and I take it to him when I put it down he looks at me and stares I look at his eyes again and I see the same thing I walk away to the counter fast and I sit down but I wanna go home so I call Dylan (bold is dylan talking)

*calling dylan*
"hey baby you okay"
"can you come pick me up I wanna go home someone can pick up my car but I can't be here anymore"
"Okay baby I'm on my way"

Dylan Pov
I put on my clothes and rush to my baby's job she sounded sad or something meaning something's on her mind she won't tell me but I know she's hiding something from me I arrive at her job and I walk into see her talking to Cam and Julie I walk to them

"Guys I'll be back tomorrow but I just need to go home" I hear her say

"Hey baby you ready" she nods walks from behind the counter and grabs my hand I see her look at something more like someone but I can't seem to follow where she was looking

We walked to my car I opened the door for her she got inside and I got in to drive home as were driving I see her anxiety messing with her because she fidgeting and bouncing her leg I grab her hand and hold it the whole time to the house

We arrive home and we walk in she takes off her shoes and coat and she walks upstairs to change and lay down I take my things off walks to the bedroom and lays down to cuddle her

"Baby what's going on you're this quiet your anxiety haven't bothered you this much you're hiding something from me and I'm not liking it" I say softly towards her ear

I hear her sniffling and I turn her around to see her crying and I hug her tightly

"I think I saw my dad and I don't know how to feel about it I don't know if it was him cause h-his face was covered but his eyes....his eyes looked just like his when I seen him for the last time" she says between his cries I rub her back

"Shh shh I know" after a while I don't hear anything and I look to see she's asleep she looks so beautiful and peaceful sleeping so I just lay there to let her cuddle me but I start to think about what she was saying if her dad is alive then who killing my parents that night ? and who was the third man laying down dead ? that my dad shot and why did I see her dad there ? it's so many questions going through my head

Riley's Pov
I wake up after a couple of hours I don't feel Dylan anymore I hear voices in the living room not voices I recognize I get up and walk to the living room to see two people and dylan drinking wine and laughing she sees me walks to me and kisses my forehead

"Hey princess we're we too loud I'm sorry if we woke you are you okay " she said softly I smile and shakes my head

"You guys didn't wake me I woke up on my own and yes I'm okay" I say quietly and she nods grabs my hand and walks me to her friends

"Joan Kacey this is Riley my girlfriend" she looks at me "Babe these are my friends Joan and Kacey" I wave and they look at me weirdly

"This is the girl you were keeping and torturing for her dad killing your parents" Joan says and she starts hitting dylan I started giggling and Kacey holds out his arms for me to hug me I hug him back "I'm Kacey sorry for dylan's actions"
I shake my head

"It's okay she's apologized a million times for her actions" I chuckle and Joan and Dylan comes back to the table and Dylan grabs me to protect her

"Baby help she owes hitting me" I chuckle and Joan pulls my arm and hugs me "Oh sweetheart I'm sorry for what dylan did I'll beat her up whenever you want me too okay you let me know if she hurts you" I nod my head chuckling

"It's okay to what she did she's apologized a bunch of times already" I walk back to her holds her hand

After a while Joan and Kacey leaves we start cleaning up I sit on the counter and waits for dylan to finish the dishes after she finishes she walks between my legs and leans up to kiss me

"Are you sure you're okay princess" I nod my head and we head to bed she cuddles me and we end up falling asleep

Did Riley actually see her dad ? Who really killed Dylan's parents ? Who was the dead guy ?
