Chapter 6

Riley Pov
It's been 1 month since I've been staying with Dylan and Kylie. Dylan's been nicer she even smiles more now she slips up and become her cold hearted self but then she'll come back later and be nice again.

Right now we're sitting down enjoying tv when all of a sudden the lights go out. We start to look around I hear Dylan whisper to find somewhere safe to hide she gives me a gun and I run to a hiding spot with Kylie I hear Kylie crying because she scared I start to comfort her "Hey Hey she's gonna be okay I won't let her die" I hear a lot of commotion outside the room I hear someone come inside I cover Kylie mouth when suddenly the door open.

As the door open I put the gun behind my back and I start to fight the person then when I finally get him on the ground I shoot him in the head. I hear someone else coming I aim the gun at the door and I wait then BANG I shot another guy I turn around to Kylie and tell her to stay where she is.

I walk outside to where Dylan is and I see him fighting two guys I run to where she is and grab one of the guys after getting him on the ground someone shoots me I wince shoot him grab his gun and I shoot the other guy.

After all that is done the lights come back on and I see nothing but bodies everywhere finally I think about Kylie I run to the room and I see her I run to her and hug her "she's okay you're okay" I see her look at my arm and gasp "I'm okay it's just a little shot" I see Dylan run in the room and look at me "Riley I had them why would you do that now look at your arm" I look at her "I promised Kylie you would be fine it's just a gunshot wound i've gotten shot before no big deal who were those people anyways" she sighs and sits on the bed.

Dylan Pov
I look at Riley as she patches up her arm and I start telling her everything "Those people are enemies of my dad they've been wanting me dead for a while now and now that they know you're here and Kylie's here there gonna try to take you and her away from me to distract me or make me suffer they are not safe people Riley they will kill you no matter what" she looks at me as she wraps her arm "I will be fine you need to worry about Kylie your sister" I walk to her I turn her to face me and I put my hands on both sides of the counter and I lean in towards her face.

"You're doing something to me Riley idk what but it's irking me" I said softly

"W-what do you m-mean" she says stuttering I lean in a bit closer as we're our lips are almost touching

"I really wanna kiss you I wanna hold you you make me feel things nobody has ever did before" I say while looking in her eyes

She doesn't say anything she just stares back we lean in more until the door opens revealing Kylie and I step away from her and scratches the back of my head

"Riley you um okay" Kylie says looking at her. Riley nods her head and says "i'm okay it stings a little bit i'll be fine are you okay you feeling any better" Kylie nods and looks at me "Dylan are you hurt or anything" I look at her and shakes my head "no i'm fine i'm just glad you're okay" she smiles and walks out

I notice Riley staring at me and I walk out the bathroom and walks to my room. We almost kissed

Riley Pov
I took my shower put on my pjs and I am currently sitting on my bed thinking about what almost happened in the bathroom with Dylan.

I touch my lips smiling we almost kissed but wait I thought she hated me maybe she's doing this because I saved her and she thinks she owes me or something

As I'm thinking I hear someone walk in and it's Kylie she comes in and sits on my bed looking at me weirdly I look back at her with a weird look "We're you and Dylan about to kiss in the bathroom" I blush and look away "n-no what are you talking about we were clearly just talking" she chuckles "yeah right that's not what you face is saying" I hit her shoulder"okay fine yes we were she said i'm doing something to her and that she wants to kiss me but I thought she hated me you know because you your parents"
