Chapter 3

"Naruto" sasuke said in his deep monotone voice "what do you think you're doing, you're sick" his voice sounding like velvet to my ears laced with hidden concern. It took me a few moments to register what he had said "I-i-I'm not sick you teme bastard" I stammered out trying not to appear weak or unwell but utterly failing. It was the I realized, for some reason I was only in my boxers and that the sheets where range led up in my legs. I wasn't gonna get far like this so I tried to untangle myself but only seemed to get even more tangled up. I slipped. I fell. I was caught. I looked up to see what had happened only to realize that my chest was agents his, his hand around my small waist, our noses where barely touching and our lips only centimeters apart. My breath caught in my mouth as I stared into his onyx pools people call eyes, the feeling returned on high blast this time "You're obviously ill, you've got a high temperature and from what I see you can't even keep your balance". I can feel his breath agents my skin as he says that, I start to feel tingly all over, heat encased me and i could feel something building in the Pitt of my stomach and i was getting goosebumps all over "not trying to interrupt anything here but he's sick and I'm a medic nin so I kinda need to check to see weather or not it's a fever or something else" we both turned and looked at her. It was then I realised the suggestive position me and Sasuke where in And my face flushed in embarrassment "I I I w-we're not, it's not what it looks like I swear it" a Smirk speared across her face "well it looks like you tripped and Sasuke stopped you from hurting yourself" she said with amusement in her voice " why what do you think it looks like" my face flushed further if that was even possible "lay down I'll check you over"  I nodded and Sasuke let me go, I got up and walked to the bed and laid down and karin came over and sat at the edge of the bed. She placed her hands so they where hovering above my body and did the diagnostics jutsu, starting at my head then my chest and then when she got to my abdomen and frowned she did a quick sweep over my body again and stood looked at me intensely then asked "Naruto have you tried any new seals on yourself or taken any medication you shouldn't have"  I frown at her question why would I have taken medicine that he didn't have to and trying untested seals was just stupid even idiots new that and he isn't as much as dobe as he let others believe him be " of course I haven't, you know I wouldn't do either" she frowns further and turns to leave but before she walks out the door she looks over her shoulder an says "I'm getting sakura I need a second opinion before asking tsunde-sama for assistance"

Sakura frowned down at naruto from the side of the bed where she was sat "this really is strange"
