Sage was feeding bits and pieces of a broken waffle to Jahcari. Dee and Skeeta went to go do some hoodlum stuff. Sage didn't mind watching Cari, she found herself attached to him.

Every since what happened in the living room between Dee and Sage, they've grown even closer than before.

"Man man stopppp" Sage told Cari laughing whole Cari tried to touch her face with his sticky fingers.

Cari giggled and clapped his sticky hands together, he pulled his hands apart reaching for another homemade waffle that was realll good to him.

"Aht aht" Sage told him handing him his bottle that contained whole milk

"You needa drink some of this" she told him as he grabbed that bottle happily not knowing what she was saying and he drunk it titling his head back.

She laughed at him as he stopped drinking the milk and put it down "it's good huh" she asked him

Cari had two bottoms teeth and then the rest was gums, he had a head full of hair. Sage was kinda scared because Jahcari can die from SIDS. So every time he would go to sleep, she would watch him.

She noticed that Dee and Cari are always at her house, so she bought her a camera to go in her room, so she wouldn't have to sit in her room and watch him when she could simply watch him from her phone.

Sage saw that Cari wasn't eating nomore, he was too busy watching cocomelon on his table that was sitting up with the kickstand clapping his hands. She looked at him and smiles.

"Da-Da" Cari said out of nowhere

Sage squealed and instantly FaceTimed Dee

"Wassup pretty girl" Dee said smiling at the camera

Sagé instantly blushed "guess what" she said

"What mama" he said confused   

"Da-Da"Cari said seeing his dad on the FaceTime call

"Ma, you heard dhet too rhi ? Ian trippin rih?" He said in disbelief

"Yessss pa, I heard it too, that's why I called you, I was like omgggg" she told him

"Yooo, ain't no mfkin way " Dee said smiling in disbelief still

"Skeeta tell me why Cari callin me da now" He excitedly told his best friend

"Yuhhhhh " Skeeta said getting out of his chair hitting the dougie

Dee busted out laughing at Skeeta antics

Sage heard someone rattling with the door she instantly grabbed Cari and her phone and ran into her room
"De'Landon" sage said in a shaky voice Cari got scared because of Sage's body language

"Hm" he said calming hisself down from laughing at Skeeta

"I think someone is trying to break in" she said lowly but loud enough for him to hear as she locked her room door

Dee sat up instantly" wym someone is trying to break i-ykw we otw rn" he told her

"Stay otp wimme please "she said with her hands shaking, she said holding Cari and walking into her closet and sitting on the floor

"Igh ma, stay quiet fo me doe " he told her as him and Skeeta got in the car and pulling off speeding off to the house

Cari started to form a cry because he was confused on what was going on and he felt Sage's body language and she was scared.

"No man man, shhhh, it's okay" Marie consoled him while putting his pacifier in his mouth that was connected to his shirt

That instantly hushed him, he laid his head on sage's chest as he placed one of his sticky hands on her face closing his eyes trying to go to sleep.

"Whea dhet bitch at " Sage heard the intruder say as he walked through the house looking for her, as he walked through the condo he was destroying stuff, he smashed the tv that was in the living room

Sage head it and she jumped and tears swelled up in her eyes, as soon as she jumped Cari's eyes instantly popped open.

Sage rubbed his back to get him to go back to sleep " De'Landon and Ahmad, please hurry, he's getting closer to my room " she said Inna low shakily tone

"We tryin ma, we right down the street, hold on tight Igh?" He told her trying to calm himself down

"Night fuck these bitch go around them, fuck who you hit, we'll worry about them lata " Skeeta said worried at the fact that this is the second time this happened to his sister, and that this time she could possibly die.

The man was still in the living room breaking stuff he went around and saw a picture of their parents and knocked it down and he walked towards Sage's room trying to open the door but he noticed it was locked and he smirked.

"You might as well as come out lil bitch" he said

"Mann ik he ain't calling my sista a bitch" Skeeta said as they pulled up but before Dee could park, Skeeta got out the car running into the house instantly pulling his gun out seeing a shadow and hearing whimpers towards Sage room and the man busted Sage's door open.

Skeeta walked towards her room going in and shooting the man in the back of his head. He instantly dropped dead to the ground

Cari woke up from the loud sound and he instantly started crying Skeeta went and opened the closet door with a worried Dee behind him.

Sage looked up and saw her brother and got up and hugged him and her and Cari cried.Cari reached for his dad and Dee grabbed him and walked out the room to calm Cari down.

Skeeta hugged her back and rubbed her back calming her down" it's alr fat mama, ain't nun gon happen to you, you good" he told her in an calmly manner trying to prevent her from having a panic attack

But he was a little too late, she started hyperventilating, and she cried harder.

"Marie, breath fa me fat mama, copy me" he told her

He instructed her on how to calm down her breathing as her face was red and her eyes was puffy from crying,

She finally calmed down and Skeeta kissed her forehead and whispered "I'm sorry fat mama"

She didn't hear him because of her sniffing.She felt safe in her brother arms,she didn't let him go she just kept on holding him tightly.
