Warriors: Apollo's Choice

Chapter 2

Apollo stood up and stretched, purpously slapping Gale with his tail.

"Hey! Watch it." Gale snapped at him.

"My bad, sorry." Apollo said innocently.

Gale huffed and walked off, leaving Apollo to ponder in his own thoughts. 'I have to be quick.' He thought. He looked around and saw that the twolegs we're too busy to notice him. He looked over to the window and back at the twolegs. 'This is it.' He thought and ran to the window and jumped out.

Outside, Fierce was waiting for him just like she promised.

"Come on! Hurry!" Fierce yowled out as she noticed the twolegs running out of the house.

Apollo ran and jumped over the fence, crash landing in the other side. Fierce jumped back next to him as he stood up.

"Get up! We need to run some more." She instructed and ran off, with Apollo following right behind.

"How far is your den?" Apollo asked as he caught up with her.

"Just a few more twoleg dens." She informed, nodding towards a few other twoleg dens.

Apollo nodded and kept running. A few moments later, they arrived at an abandoned twoleg den.

"This is my den." Fierce informed and slid through a hole on the wall.

Apollo soon followed and saw that the den was filled with spider webs, cracks and broken windows. He followed Fierce and she led him to an area that had a moss nest laying in the middle. The area was small, but cozy, it had a couple of spider webs and two broken windows. It was painted a light green color and the pasture from outside was growing inside the room.

"This place is nice." Apollo said under his breath.

"It may not be as comfortable as your last den, but it'll have to do." Fierce said kindly.

Apollo purred sweetly and went back to looking around the area. He walked around for a bit and stopped in front of the moss nest.

It was worn and slightly dirty, the moss was patted down from the times Fierce has been sleeping in it. A tap on his shoulder snapped him out of his daze. He looked back and saw Fierce with a large patch of moss in her mouth. He took the moss from her mouth and let her speak.

"I'm going to teach you how to make a moss nest." Fierce said, spitting out the moss in her mouth.

Apollo nodded and set down the moss close to her's.

"Now you pat it down to your liking." She instructed.

Apollo stepped into the nest and started to pat down the moss with his paws. He layed down to test how it felt.'It feels nice, but it feels uncomfortable on my back legs.' He thought. Apollo stood back up and patted the back area of his nest with his back paws. He layed back down and shifted for a few heart-beats. 'There we go! That's better.' He cheered in his mind.

I'm so sorry for the late  and short update! >~< I know it's summer and that I should be able to update freely, but there's been alot of stuff going on lately for me and I haven't been able to write. These next few days are gonna be a bit tight for me, so yeah... Again, I'm SO sorry for the late and short update.
