The familiar sound of your alarm stings the silence of the room.
"Ngghhhh... stop... alarm..."
You silently mumble under your breath
The alarm continues
"Alarm... stop..."
You repeat once again but slightly louder.

You sit up and kick the alarm off of the bedside table which it was resting on, and it stops.
"Finally..."

You get out of bed as you unplug your phone from its charger.
Opening messages, you click on a group chat called "The Kamaboko Squad"
You begin typing
"Hey, are you all ready for the beach trip today?"
The message says, and you send it.
Three dots appear with Tanjiro's profile next to them, indicating that he's typing
A message pops up by Tanjiro, and it reads:
"Yes! Me and Nezuko are about ready, and Kanao is on her way aswell, not sure about the others"

You write back to him:
"Alright then! I'm pretty sure Genya's buying some food and sunscreen"

He writes back to you:
"Good! I'll try to get in touch with the others, I'll contact you when we're all outside, see you later, Y/n"

You chuckle to yourself as you get dressed up.

Fast forward until the squad is there

As you sit on your bed, patiently waiting for the squad to arrive, your phone goes off.
Tanjiro's calling
You answer as you bring the phone to your ear
"Hello, we're here, come outside"
He says
"Okay, I'm coming"
You respond while walking towards the outside door
The first thing you see is Tanjiro, with the window down, wearing sunglasses, apparently driving. Zenitsu, in the back of the truck, admiring Nezuko. Nezuko, in the back with Zenitsu, admiring the area. Kanao, in the passenger seat, with a slight smile while waving at you. All of them in a big roofless summertime truck.

"Ah, hello Y/n!" Tanjiro greets you with a wave.
"Hello everyone, are they all here?"
You respond while walking to the truck.
"No, we still need to pick up Genya and Inosuke"
Tanjiro says
"Come on in, sit wherever you'd like"
Kanao adds
You open the car door as you place your belongings in the car.
"So, there's some drinks in the back with Zenitsu and Nezuko, we've got snacks up here if you want some"
"I'm good"
You reply as you shut the truck door, the vehicle taking off soon after.

"You have any idea where Inosuke is? We haven't heard from him since early this morning"
Tanjiro asks
"No, I was expecting him to be with you"
You reply
"Well, we'll pick up Genya then we can worry about that"
