Chika's POV:
I roll over to my back as my new waterproof alarm clock blares at me. It's probable the most annoying one I've had yet but I can't douse this one in water to make it shut up. I reach over and blindly turn it off, grabbing my phone while doing so. I hold the bright light of my phone to my face to see that I don't even have school today. Stupid alarm. I curl up and fall back into my blissful sleep. I wake up yet again to my phone ringing in my face because I forgot to put it back on the side table.
"Ugh, hello?" I say answering the call.
"Dude, where are you I've been waiting," Mina screeches in my ear, "We are going to miss the entrance exam if you don't hurry!!"
"Oh, shit that's today!" I say throwing myself out of bed and running to my closet still talking to my pink friend.
"Yeah butthole." She states as I dig through my clothes to find something to wear.
"Alright, I'll see you soon I promise!" I yell at her through the phone as I put on a pair of camo cargo pants. I hang up the phone and pull a tank top over my head. I stuff my phone in my pocket and run down to the door.
"Bye mom, love you!" I shout running out the door. She might not have heard me but that's okay. I know she's busy and all. I run down to the bus stop where I see Mina waving her hands above her head while she jumps up and down.
"Hey," I say coming to a stop beside my friend, Mina and I have been friends since the start of junior high. She's always been an amazing friend and is always supporting me. I even meet her when she deafened me against a bully. She's sure to be a great hero someday. I know it!
"Hey Chika, the bus is here." Mina said poking my arm
"Oh sorry, I zoned out didn't I?" I say rubbing the back of my neck
"Yeah but that's fine now hurry up." She said dragging me into the bus. We sat down and mina showed me some meme's she found when waiting. If I'm being honestly I don't really understand what she's saying.
