Days passed and finally it was time for me to head back to America. Harry sat at the end of my bed as I packed some final things from my hotel room. We were both quiet, both of us dreading the time ahead of us.
"Ok, I think I have everything." I said, setting my bags in front of the door. Harry stood up, and walked to the door to pick up my bags. We headed to the elevator, already hearing the sound of screaming girls in the hotel foyer. I checked out, and we headed to his Land Rover. We kept mostly quiet on the way to the airport, and Harry drove carefully through the crowds of girls in the streets and the sidewalks.
When we got to the airport, Harry and I manuevered through the crowds and the hundreds screaming questions at us. Cameras were shoved in our faces and the flashes almost blinded me.
We had both decided that we would hurrily say goodbye and I would board my flight, and try to keep the publicity to a minimum. I had already been receiving hate and death threats on twitter.
I checked in, and we got to my gate. Harry turned to me and looked at me straight in the eyes. He wrapped me in a huge hug and whispered, "I love you. I'll see you soon, I promise. We'll make this work." I felt like my heart was falling apart. My throat caught, and when he released me, I couldn't say anything. Tears were already starting. I could tell he was as well. He took his huge, soft hands and wiped them away. "It's gonna be ok, baby," He whispered. "Now you better go, sweetie."
I nodded, and looked down at my hands. Then looked back up and crashed my lips into his. It was so sweet, and I knew it might be the last for a very long time, with both of our busy schedules. I pulled apart, and walked to board my plane. I couldn't look back, but I pictured a very sad, droopy Harry staring at me. My phone beeped, and I pulled it out. A new text from Harry saying, "I love you, baby." I turned around, waved and blew a kiss. Then I continued and boarded.
My mom picked me up at the airport, and I decided it was time to tell her about Harry and I. She knew nothing about my new found love. "Mom, I met someone in London." I started. "Oh yeah?" She said. And I spilled the whole thing. "OH MY GOSH!!!" She exclaimed, when I told her the name of the man. "Savanna is gonna be JEALOUS!!!" "Yeah," I said, "Won't that be a shame."
Savanna was more annoying and irritating when I got back home. I walked into my room to find it trashed, and Savanna came out of the bathroom, brushing her hair. "Oh yeah, sorry. I thought I would stay in your room while you were gone. Hope you don't mind! And could you watch Bently tonight? I'm going out tonight. Thanks!!" And then she walked out. I didn't say anything, just stared at her.
I didn't bother watching my nephew, he loved me, I loved him, it was fine. But when you come into my life and try and run it, and never give me the time of day, that's when you can just stick it.
