Author's Note: Hello, Nopeoz here. Very sorry for the wait for this chapter to come out. I was working on the other chapters and I basically tried to plan ahead for the other chapters but I slacked off and didn't have the motivation or the ideas to continue the story. I also couldn't find the necessary time to work on the chapters. The story was on hold for a while but it's on hold no longer. I'm trying to make this an ambitious story but with what's going on in my life, I don't know how I'm going to complete this without being caught up on things. Hopefully, nothing in my life will kill my ambition to complete this book.
P.S, Chapter 14 - President Down has to be one of my most successful and liked chapters, I'm really glad that you all enjoyed the chapter. Thank you guys so much.Crusader's POV
My mission to kill Blackclaw was complete, he won't be running his mouth about humans anymore, but I can't help but think about this so-called project he was talking about. He said it was to help the UFRA and the PFR to quicken the process of winning the war, but I have a feeling that it's to quicken the process of putting the human race to an end. He was able to put together the project with the help of the PFR, but he never revealed it to the public since I killed him.
Just because I killed Blackclaw, it doesn't mean that I stopped his project from happening. The PFR must have control of it now that Blackclaw is dead, I'm pretty sure that Blackclaw left the responsibility of activating it to the PFR if anything ever happens to him.
I'm gonna have to find out what Blackclaw's project is and find out how am I gonna put an end to it if I can. First, I'm going to see where this train is going to go. Second, I'll try to find a way to restock on ammo, then I'm going to have to find one of the PFR's bases or prison camps somehow to see if they have any info regarding the project Blackclaw has created. Speaking of prison camps, that reminds me that I can try finding Zack's mother in one of the camps she's being kept in, but I tried to tell him that the chances of her being alive are very low because with how much the female population has been killed off in those prisons, it's a possibility that she might be dead. Even if that's a possibility, Zack is right about me not knowing that she might be alive or not, I'll have to see for myself.
I've been sitting on the luggage bags for a few hours now, my hair was completely dry after being soaked in the rain. For a the last couple of hours, I had my Glock drawn out and ready to fire because I had reasons to believe that the fight I had back in Cheyenne was far from over. I had to put my duffel bag and my other weapons down on the luggage for now. Suddenly, I felt like this train was being followed.
After a long period of sitting on the stack of luggage for a while, I got up from the bags and paced around the cart for a little while with my Glock still in hand awaiting for something to happen, an anthro to come into the car I was in that may be possibly a Human Hunter, an ambush, something. The fight that I had in me back in Cheyenne had not yet left me.
I ceased pacing when I heard a helicopter flying above the train following the sound of other helicopters flying over the tracks to get to the train. I heard 3 thuds on the top of the train car I was in and started to hear footsteps from the top of the train roof.
"Who the hell is up there?" I quietly ask myself. My grip on my gun tightened while I kept my index finger straight. The sound of ropes dropping from the sides of the windows of the railroad car could be heard, seeing this made me realize what was going to happen.
I can't tell if it was the UFRA or the PFR I was going to face, if it was then it would seem they came back for more even though they retreated. A few seconds later, I heard an anthro shouting orders from outside the train roof and then saw one anthro climb down the rope from outside of the window. Instead of the anthro being either a UFRA or a PFR soldier, it was one of the hellhound PMC contractors. This time it was one of their normal operators instead of their sneaking units that I had faced back in the movie theater.
The hellhounds didn't have black scleras and red eyes like the sneaking hellhound units did, instead, they had red scleras and white irises. Sometimes they can have orange irises. Either way, they're appearance looks hellish to other people.
