Ugh, where were they?
Thought Aru, chomping on some Swedish Fish. I'm still hungry, She concluded 7 Swedish Fish packets later. She trotted over to the fridge to treat herself with [you guessed it] more Swedish Fish

Fifteen minutes later, she got a series of texts:
Didusanatize?-- Hi aru! Sorry, but my dad...uhhh, got diagnosed with anthrax and we've got to take him to the emergency center. Byee!!
DONTkissthecook-- I can't make it have plans with Hira and she has plans with me have fun arud--ok, ok, I won't say it. Geez. (Aru got the feeling Brynne used the audio typer to send this message, and that she was up to something.)
PrinceRudra-- Hello. I CAN make it, but Mini says-ow! Ok, Ok. I CAN'T make it. Cya.
Nikita-- I have a special design I'm working on and can't make it. Sheela can't either bcz the design is for her and she needs to stay for the fitting. DON'T get that state-of-the-art nightwear I sent you stained with juice.
Aru growled. How are all 6 of them not available today? She even told them in advance! (which she barely does) She plopped down on the sofa and pondered. If Mini, Brynne, Hira, Rudra, Niki, and Sheela are not coming, nobody is arriving. Wait...NOOO...
This was all a trap.
DIIIINNNNNGGG DIIIIINGGGGGG
Aru could hear the distant sound of the doorbell ringing. Aru didn't have her hopes high that it would be any of her friends who said they couldn't make it. She already knew who was at the door-Aiden. This was all a trap because her friends ship them. This is true-they are kinda boyfriend-girlfriend. But they didn't have to make it so... Awkward. Aru prodded to the door, smothering her lips with marshmallow-flavored chapstick, trying to fluff up her hair, which only made it worse.
It was surprising how a boy could be so good-looking without even trying. Aiden had messy jet-black hair, a dull yellow hoodie with navy blue jeans. "You get the texts?" Asked Aru, knowing the answer. Aiden just nodded, looking very interested in Aru's mother's antique clock. "What? Is the clock prettier than me or something?" Aru joked, signaling him inside.
Aiden placed a hand on her cheek. "Nobody is prettier than you." He murmured, kissing Aru passionately on the lips. Mmmmm, marshmallow, He thought, trying to pry himself off of her. But it wasn't just the chapstick-it was Aru herself. Finally, what seemed like decades later, Aiden pulled back from a dazed-looking Aru.
"Well, besides Brynne, Mini, Sheela, Niki..." Aru knew he was kidding, and placed a finger on his lips. "Shhhh," She whispered. She took away her hand from his lips and wrapped it around his neck, leading him to the couch and TV room. While walking, fingers intertwined, Aru felt a nagging sense that she was forgetting to do something.
Aru and Aiden were having a disagreement about whether they should watch Descendants 3 or Finding Nemo. "I am literally on the verge of writing you a 5-page essay of why we should watch Descendants 3," Counted Aiden. "Please don't. That would be too much work for me. Reading all those words," Chimed Aru. Aiden raised an eyebrow. "Too much work for YOU?" Aru nodded fiercely. "Yeeeeup." She said.
After more minutes of bickering, Aru suddenly shouted, "LOOK! A FLYING BIRD!" Aiden whipped his head around, trying to find what Aru was screaming about. When he turned around, he found out that Aru was already 3 seconds into Finding Nemo. "You tricked me!" Complained Aiden. "Surprise, surprise, wise dude. All birds fly." "Well, not penguins, or ostriches," Responded Aiden logically.

30 minutes into the movie. Aru might've not been wrong. Aiden was finding himself quite attached to the movie. He was enjoying himself before he felt a warm tingling sensation on his lean, muscular body. It occurred to him it was Aru's hand tracing his six-pack. (I don't know if Aiden is this muscular...improv) Aiden felt himself grow hotter as Aru's hand mapped itself more up, up up.
Before they knew it, they were kissing again. With Aru's right hand in his hoodie, and the other one playing with his hair, Aiden felt like he just jumped into a pool of crystal-clear water on a hot summer day. Aiden rubbed Aru's neck, and she sighed in reply. His other hand circled her waist. He observed that Aru was in a more athletic shape than when he first met her.
They could've gone on forever, but it was a familiar 'It's about time!' And an eruption of cheers that snapped them back to reality. "Hooray!" Shrilled Sheela, pouncing on Aru. "Finally got the courage, eh, Wifey?" Smirked Byrnne. "How'd you get in?" Questioned Aru. "Well, a pair named Aruden were too busy smooching to even close the door," Explained Rudra, punching his cousin playfully on the arm. Aiden just continued to flush several different shades of red, pink, and purple. Aru, on the other hand, was beaming, delighted to see her friends come over to her slumber party, spying on them or not.
That's it! Phew, that was a lot! WELL? Is it good? Bad? Cheesy? Average? Tell me in the chat, guys! Hope you liked it, and hopefully, we see another story tomorrow or the day after.
